Life in Ann Arbor is a wonderful thing - this town is full of strong messages, like the one in this photo. This is a sticker I found, fixed to a light post. Feb 2009.
SUSHISAMBA DROMO...We sat in the SUSHI BAR area. I loved the ceiling in this place...u can kind of see it here. I should have taken a pic of just the ceiling. What I loved most is that we felt like we were eating outside...it's so bright...huge glass windows around most of the restaurant...so during the day u basically eat with natural outdoor lighting. It was too hot to eat outside...maybe next time when we go back for dinner and the summer heat wears off.
Q: What's more important than Gold ornaments, Silk Sarees?
A: Having a toilet at home.

Among the many “pearls of wisdom” are messages of hope, including “You will open your wings when you’re ready, and believe me you will fly.”

Had just gotten my M5 back from CLA, and much of this was via some golden hour practice, using the 35mm Nikkor. Ultra again was the film, and I knew given the light situation I'd be developing this semistand. The difference between AM and PM golden hour is strikingly different, which I don't think I really thought about much in the past. There seems to be much more reflected light in the afternoon, but maybe that's just the way my towns are positioned vis-a-vis the mountains and the other man made scenes. Thanks to all those flickeranians who continue to inspire - it makes all of us want to get better out there!
