After I had spotted this coyote walking along the road at the top of Bodega Head, I followed him for a bit in my car. Then as the road ended and another car joined me to watch, this coyote pulled up and sent us a very clear message. The squinty eyed expression of disdain says it all. And you can see the rest of the message near its back foot.
Yes, I have more explicit photos of the message delivery, but I will spare you. Although the whole thing made me laugh. And, based on the evidence you can see here, I can tell you this is a healthy and well fed animal. But this coyote did not have much fear of humans.
The Irish Government is pushing the Covid 19 message on Buses , normally used for Advertising everything from Chocolate to Holidays the Virus has stifled this activity foe the moment....as ever better days are hoped for soon

Notre soeur Ti Beauté s'en est allée ce matin vers un autre monde .Elle allait avoir 15 ans cet été ,et elle vient d'être victime d'un empoisonement (involontaire ).Depuis samedi elle se bat mais elle a perdu ce dernier combat .
It's me Pétard, I'm there with a bad news. Our sister Ti Beauté has left us this morning for another world. She was almost 15 and was victim of an (involuntary) poisoning. She had been fighting since Saturday but she lost the fight.

68005 Defiant and 68021 Tireless have just popped down to Daventry to collect the 'messages' and are now on their way to Mossend. It's not quite 0630 and spitting with rain, the promise of good weather at 0500 was well and truly dashed by this time!
If you zoom into this photo, you can see a few petroglyphs faintly carved on the surface boulder that was reportedly relocated from Vargas Plateau. In front of it are a few rocks with grinding mortars. They are located at the Ohlone cemetery fenced off restricted from public access. These petroglyphs are referred as Western Message Petroglyphs. According to some academic studies, they are most likely influenced by the European pioneers. The Vanderbilt Mantelpiece originally dominated the entrance hall of the residence of Cornelius Vanderbilt II on Fifth Avenue at 57th Street (demolished 1925-27). Working for the architect George B. Post, the artist John La Farge (1835-1910) created a lavish decorative program, to which Saint-Gaudens contributed many of the sculptural elements.
This is Joshua posing with his Valentine's Day box (a paper alligator) before and after taking it to school. Valentine's Day has become very formalized and regulated and is now a little like a second Halloween. Every student in a class is supposed to give a Valentine treat to every other student in the class but they are not supposed to personalize the treat. Everything is given anonymously and everyone ends up with a pile of candy. Gone are the days when kids got to overanalyze cards and messages to see if a secret love interest was trying to tell them something.

From whom to whom? Did the homeowner put this warning up on his own door to let people know he was armed? Or was this a threat delivered to the homeowner by someone who was armed? I spotted this on my evening walk through a Los Angeles neighborhood. Strange world we live in.
