Finally had some time to play around with Marvelous to SL workflow. Mesh import process was amazingly quick, even as I was discovering how everything worked --
Marvelous Designer to Second Life mesh beta in 30 seconds (3ds max pro optimizer - bring it down to 10 to 50% poly)
Marvelous Designer is a wonderfully intuitive clothing designer. It exports to .obj, which you can easily import to 3ds Max, apply the Pro Optimizer modifier, export to collada, and 1-click import to Mesh Second Life
This screenshot illustrates the workflow. (In other news... I *will* finally begin teaching my 3ds Max for SL courses... soon-ish! Stay tuned to academy.inacentaur.com ...)
Creation of everything seen above - from Marvelous Designer to 3ds Max to SL - took less than 2 minutes! (Even with me still fumbling around Marvelous, being new to it...)
Used on drywall installations or repairing holes in drywall, the mesh is applied over seams or holes; then the joint compound is applied over the mesh with a putty knife.

Yes there is a new store with mesh clothing out there on the Lelutka sim.. its called "Celoe". I bought this pants there and as they collabor now with mon tissu that will provide more mesh clothing now. I bought this awesome top from them.
The items are really nice and professional made. But i still dont think it explanes the price of 400LS for pants.
