Here are the latest photos of Merida. She is a very gorgeous kitty. She's a little shy - as in she won't come running to you; but she is a purr machine when you pick her up. She's very playful and loves to play teaser stick. If you are looking for 2 kitties - she has an older friend - Dupree who she is totally in love with. Merida has one of the largest populations of ethnic mayans. It is also a large colonial Spanish Town. It is also a properous trading town and the capital of Yucatant. This leads to an exciting melange of customs. On Sunday there is communal dancing in which the whole town converges into the central Square (Zocalo). These pictures were shot on such a Sunday..
