We as women are in charge of our monthly cycles. We control our periods, "PERIODS DON'T CONTROL US". @peachstore.in × @ms.journo

As a woman, I know how hard and frustrating it is, to adjust your sanitary napkins every now and then. And today we are travelling, we are working, we may be studying too, we must be involved in extra-curricular activities and with some pace, managing our houses. Don’t you think we are old enough to live a life of ease and convenience?

Introducing you to @peachstore.in, and their 100% cotton and bio-degradable tampons. The perks of using these tampons over other brands is the "100% cotton factor", their utility factor and the option of getting tampon sizes customized according to your needs and blood flow. I have to travel a lot, sometimes locally and sometimes even inter-state; and I don't like bulking up my bag or handbag with sanitary napkins and newspapers. Instead, I just take tampons and put them in a Ziplock bag and then into my vanity case and I am done for my trip. In the case of extreme blood flow, I can use the larger sized tampons and If I am doubtful about the starting date of cycle or on the last day, I can go for the small ones.

.

They are super easy and convenient to carry and give you the confidence to move around freely. Designed especially for the modern age woman with a lot of love and care, this special hamper box also contains a box of panty liners which you can use underneath your tampon to ensure complete coverage or even simply glue it to your inner garment. They are small, compared to pads, but ensure full coverage. They feel extremely soft and gentle and are too made of 100% biodegradable material.

.

There's a handmade hot bag too which you can microwave for a minute and get an instant relief from your cramps. Also, you can use the cramp relief cream and a lip balm to make you feel good in those days. All in all, I love the user-friendly, women-empowering, convenient and eco-friendly approach of the brand and I appreciate their thoughtfulness to create something which keeps a check on the entire menstrual health, hygiene and convenience of a woman.

Swipe up on my story to buy the hamper box or select from their products according to your choice. Take a look at my IGTV video in my former posts and drop in your queries if you have any!!

Participants of a day-long anti-child marriage training on the outskirts of Harare, Zimbabwe.

The training provided an open environment for girls to learn their rights, engage in frank discussions about the challenges that lead to marriage, and build the confidence and support networks necessary to stay in school and decide for themselves whether and when to marry.

Though menstruation is still a taboo in India, the first period of the girl is celebrated with joy.

Throughout each menstrual cycle, the egg is developed and is released from the ovaries; the lining of the uterus builds up. If pregnancy doesn’t happen, the uterine lining sheds during a menstrual period, the cycle starts again. The length of each menstrual phase differs from woman to woman, and it can change over time.
