Sooo, I’m at THAT age us women inevitably have to go through, and I’m getting lots of brain fog along with other symptoms, I realised that the photo of the alpaca I posted yesterday, had already been posted last month. 😂 This capture was the one I intended to post. The lights are definitely fading in my head.

Going through a rough patch currently, Daniel has quite bad depression and has started medication, and is suffering from the side effects, but hopefully soon they will pass and we will be able to resume life and be much happier.

Antonio finished college 4 weeks earlier than anticipated, so now I have to try to prise him off his pc for 10 weeks rather than 6. Fun times 😳 So, I may have to do mostly group responses to my posts due to needing to focus on family, and also my website I am building on teemill.

My flickr pro account expires end of July, so I have decided to use the opportunity to not renew it until Antonio has returned to college in September, which means more time over the holidays to try to enjoy the summer as a family and less internet time. I will, however check in and follow you guys. Flickr is my happy place.

Have a wonderful summer, much love from us all. ❤️❤️❤️

Amanita muscaria, also known as the fly agaric fungus due to its ability to effectively repel flies, has been studied in mythology and science for hundreds of years. In medicine, amanita is used as a natural way to solve the problems of arthritis, swollen joints, menopause, and is an effective remedy for pain.

Red Clover Tea is a delicious beverage that has many potential health benefits. Some of the benefits that have been studied and proven. These include relief from menopausal symptoms, improved heart health, cancer prevention, and better blood sugar control.

Oh no, but it's not me 😮😮😮

I will disappoint you but all my photos are made with models and certainly not me 😂 I would have a hard time doing it to achieve this result ..

To cut short all the fantasies that you would like to lend me, I'm old enough to be a grandmother, I'm 59 this year, menopausal wrinkles and curves 😏

But when I am told like yesterday or the day before that my photography is modern, young, sometimes cheeky, that can only please me ...

Ah ah, you made me laugh while waiting! I specify that the young girl pictured here is just 20 years old ! lol

Taken in my garden this morning after overnight rain. Minimal processing here -it looked much like this (minus the text and ttv layer) straight off the camera.

Polygonatum multiflorum or Solomon's Seal.

The root is the active part and is used in a range of afflictions from menopause to broken bones.

Motherwort:

•A tall, flowering perennial herb native to Europe, and naturalized in many parts of the United States.

•As the species name “cardiac” implies, it is used for heart conditions, specifically tachycardia.

•Motherwort contains ursolic acid, which is responsible for its cardio-rotective properties. It also contains leonurine, which is anti-inflammatory, and contains polysaccharaides that have anti-oxidant properties.

•This plant has been used in fold medicine to treat anxiety, depression and menopausal symptoms. While early research is promising, more data is needed.

For some women the menopause can be quite a liberation. Like the transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly:-)

My goodness, i did not realise how tough life would be without Trev.

Think how tough it would be?, multiply it by a million AND add menopause and that's how i feel.

That so called God and the Angels that took Trev, have left me, his boy's and his family in Hell ... ANGER is part of the so called "grieving process" that apparently only time can help heal .... Well that's definitely the part I'm am at the moment thanks to CANCER!

I HATE CANCER, TIME and the BLOODY PROCESS!

Passiebloem, goed tegen stress

Passion flower, good for the heart

Heart palpitations are treated by phytotherapists with passion flower, at least that is one of the medicines for this condition. In addition, high blood pressure is counteracted with this beautiful flower. This is mainly when the high blood pressure is caused by stress. The relaxing effect calms the heart.

Passion flower, good against stress

The calming effects of passion flower are best expressed in treatments against stress. Stress can trigger migraines, cause stomach and intestinal complaints, result in increased thyroid function and induce various other symptoms such as nervousness and concentration difficulties. By using passion flower as a medicine, all these stress-related symptoms are greatly reduced. A phytotherapist will give passion flower to a patient who carries several indications from the above list.

Passion flower against withdrawal symptoms

Many of the effects of passion flower concern psychological indications. A special indication is having withdrawal symptoms after an addiction. Someone who has smoked or wants to quit smoking weed, drinking or even using hard drugs such as cocaine and heroin will be able to tolerate their withdrawal symptoms better and see them become less severe by using passion flower. This drug harmonizes the central nervous system. A person who is addicted to alcohol often suffers from sleep disorders. These are counteracted with passion flower tea or other forms of processing.

Not only alcoholics can have sleep problems, women in menopause also often suffer from this. Sometimes you wake up frequently at night due to constant anxiety. Most anxiety-reducing medicines from the pharmaceutical industry cause drowsiness, but not passion flower. The flower takes away anxiety and oppressive feelings. Excessive worry, panic attacks and insomnia are naturally cured by using passion flower.

“COVID Vaccines May Reduce Women’s Lifelong Egg Supply, Rat Study Suggests”

“Turkish researchers said the results of their study justify ‘further investigations into the vaccines’ effects on human ovarian reserve.’ Experts said the study’s findings have ‘profound’ implications for global fertility rates.”

childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/covid-vaccines-reduce...

“’This is not unexpected — the lipid nanoparticles encapsulating the mRNA have a particular preference for the ovaries, according to animal biodistribution studies. Once inside, the mRNA instructs the ovaries to produce toxic Spike protein, leading to tissue damage and infertility,’ Hulscher said.”

“Aside from the decline in ovarian follicles measured in the Turkish study, the results also showed other negative reproductive health outcomes in the vaccinated groups.

“One such outcome was a decline in Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) — which is representative of ovarian reserve, or the quantity of oocytes in the ovary. Lower levels of AMH are “associated with poor fertility outcomes and earlier menopause,” Hulscher wrote.”

“It’s been known since 2017 that lipid nanoparticles damage reproduction in men and women.”

“A preprint published by six Czech, Danish and Swedish researchers last month that examined approximately 1.3 million Czech women ages 18-39 found that those who had received COVID-19 vaccines had approximately 33% fewer successful pregnancies compared to unvaccinated women.

“The total fertility rate in the Czech Republic declined by 21% during the period studied.”

“A study published in Molecular Therapy Nucleic Acids in March found that mRNA crosses the placenta within one hour, leading to the development of spike protein that remains in fetal tissues after birth. A study published last month in BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth found a higher miscarriage rate among COVID-vaccinated women.”

Metaphorazine

by Jeff Noon

from a book of amazing short stories and viral prose named Pixel Juice

Johnny takes Metaphorazine. Every clockwork day. Says it burns his house down, with a haircut made of wings. You could say he eats a problem. You could say he stokes his thrill. Every clingfilm evening, climb inside a little pill. Intoxicate the feelings. Play those skull-piano blues. Johnny takes Metaphorazine.

He's a dog.

Lucy takes Simileum. That's not half as bad. She's only like a moon gone slithering, upside-down the sky. Like a tidal wave of perfume, like a spillage in the heart. With eyes stuck tight like envelopes, and posted like a teardrop. Like a syringe, of teardrops. Like a dripfeed aphrodisiac, swallowed like a Cadillac. Lucy takes Simileum.

She's like a dog.

Graham takes Litotezol. Brain the size of particles, that cloud inside of parasites, that live inside the paradise of a pair of lice. He's a surge of melted ice cream, when he makes love like a ghost. Sparkles like a graveyard, but never gets the urge, and then sings Hallelujah! Hallelujah! like a turgid flatfoot dirge. Graham takes Litotezol.

He's a small dog.

Josie takes Hyperbolehyde. Ten thousand every second. See her face go touch the sky, when she climbs that rollercoaster high. That mouth! Such bliss! All the planets and the satellites make their home inside her lips. It's a four-minute warning! Atomic tongue! Nitrokisserene! Josie takes Hyperbolehyde.

She's a big dog.

Alanis takes Alitterene. It drags a deeper ditch. And all her dirty dealings display a debonair disdain. Her dynamo is dangerous, ditto her dusky dreams. Dummies devise diverse deluxe débâcles down dingy detox driveways. Alanis takes Alitterene.

She's a dead dog, ya dig?

Desmond takes Onomatopiates.

He's a woof woof.

Sylvia takes Oxymorox. She's got the teenage menopause. Gets her winter-sugar somersaults from sniffing non-stick glue. She wears the v-necked trousers, in the blind-eye looking-glass. Does the amputated tango, and then finds herself quite lost, in the new old english style, Sylvia takes Oxymorox.

She's a cat dog.

But Johnny takes Metaphorazine. Look at those busted street lamp eyes, that midnight clockface of a smile. That corrugated tinflesh roof of a brow. The knife, fork and spoon of his fingers, the sheer umbrella of the man's hairdo! The coldwater bedsit of his brain. He's a fanfare of atoms, I tell you! And you know that last, exquisite mathematical formula rubbed off the blackboard before the long summer holidays begin? Well, that's him. Speeding language through the veins, Johnny takes Metaphorazine.

He's a real dog.

This is from Pixel Juice. Read it.

Search on the web, says it is used for: Today, passionflower is promoted as a dietary supplement for anxiety and sleep problems, as well as for pain, heart rhythm problems, menopausal symptoms, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. It is applied to the skin for burns and to treat hemorrhoids. If I had known that while chasing trains, I would have stopped to harvest some. These are so nice to find and view.

You know when you feel really miserable but you don’t know why, and you’re having one of those days when just about everything gets on your nerves? Maybe it’s because I spent half the morning on the phone to Sky having to upgrade my wifi and Sky box, grrrr. And maybe it’s the menopause and I’m just a grumpy cow these days. 🤔 But then you take your dog for a walk and you come home feeling really happy and like everything in the world is rosy again. That!

It’s really hard to be miserable for long when you own a Weimaraner.

Clary Sage:

•A flowering herb native to the Mediterranean basin.

•The leaves, flowers, stems and seeds can all be used for medicinal purposes.

Candid street shot taken in the city of Bath. I witnessed this lady hobble painfully past me. This shot wasn't taken to mock, if anything it's a "reflected" self portrait as I age and go downhill myself. Although nowhere near this lady's age, I am REALLY starting to feel it, and it's slapping me in the face that getting old sucks even more than I assumed it would.

I was going to clone out the "Plumbing and Heating" sign to add to the background bleakness but then I realised it adds to the story. I fully realise the pun in the "plumbing" too when it comes to ladies after the menopause.

More Testimonials

Thank you for the encyclopedia books "The Foods With Their Healing Power and Medicinal Plants". I am Learning lots of information from them. This will be of great benefit to me when referring to the healing powers of foods. I will use this information in my chiropractic office when teaching about healthy eating to my patients. It is good to know that there are books that can provide this type of vital information to those who are willing to benefit from the information. Again thanks for these incredible books.

It is my pleasure to recommend a set of books that I used and believe to be quite informational: Foods And Their Healing Power and Medicinal Plants. As a Fellow, in the Medical Fellowship Program at Wildwood Lifestyle Center and Hospital, I have found these books to be quite helpful. They provide accurate nutritional information for a wide array of foods found throughout the world and they include a list of medicinal plants with their properties and mechanisms of action. In addition, they are written without the usual heavy jargon, which makes them appealing to healthcare professionals, non-health care persons and children. The quality is superb and the material is presented in a colorful way. I have recommended them, on numerous occasions, to guests and patients at the Wildwood Lifestyle Center and Hospital. This set of books will complement the home and any other learning enviroments.

-Dr. Ervin Davis

I am writing this letter to offer my gratitude regarding the Encyclopedia of Medicinal Plants. In your description of the books you explained how beautiful they were and their content. All that I can say is that your words were not enough! The books have already proven to be an incredible asset to my own education and the promotion of God's health message to others.

The color and clarity of photographs is nothing less than phenomenal and the information given on each of the foods and medicinal plants far surpasses anything that I have been able to find thus far in book form or on the Internet. Not only will this prove very valuable in a health ministry but also in my profession as a medical doctor in education of my patients.

Please feel free to use me as a reference if anyone medical or non-medical needs further insight on these very valuable tools. Thanks again and God bless you!

How are those perimenopause and

menopause symptoms treating you? Hormones can certainly make us feel like we're at their mercy--

Night sweats

Hot flashes

No desire for sex

Weight gain (easy and rapid)

Mood swings

Natural Hormone Balance can really help.

When a woman is 58

Unmarried living all by herself

Just a computer screen as mate

Than she for the other sex

Has no feelings just

Viciousness rabidity

Full of Hate

Unbalanced mental state

Menopausal corrosion

Of human values

Yes it’s been too late

She now for man and men

Has slaughterhouse distaste

Butchering him for

A very long wait

Her sexuality eaten

Up by a menstrual morbidity

Scrawls on her libidinous slate

The few crumbs of her

Corrosive virginity rusty

Beneath the cosmetic plate

Unwanted she will

Carry it to her grave

Worms’s insects

Gnawing away at her

Bones putrid flesh

Such shall be

Her hateful fate

Racism is not just about color

It is about attitude

Your bigoted views

Your insular upbringing

That like a trap lies

In wait to incarcerate

A colored man

Because he disagrees

With you or

Your white poetic debate

How many blocks will

You put on him

To choke his voice

His freedom of speech

Lousy Lynching Maid

A Jena Tree that died

Because it had a canopy leaves

But could not give shade

You and your kind

An insult to God

God’s creativity

You who made Man eat the Fruit

That God forbade

A Snake Goddess who

Copulated with the serpent

Unafraid

Poetic Justice

A satanic silence

A satanic diatribe

That will here on Earth

In a retributive action will be repaid

Events and horrendous menopausal mood swings have prevented me getting out much recently, but finally broke through and headed sort of mountainward. Llanberis in fact and did something I have never done before, taken the Llanberis Lake Railway. A very pleasant hour spent pootling along the side of Llyn Padarn. The views were pretty gorgeous, but with the sky being flat and grey, the pics aren't as good as I had hoped, but gives me an excuse to do it again!

I have let the Roger of York winter rainbow group slide a bit, but thank you to everyone who has added a colourful pic to the group.

Another page for my menopause album.

There is a story that goes with this, which will be my 1/2 page, but I'm too tired tonite :~)

After I had seen Saras newest work, I remembered which I wanted to do after my menopause Angel, still other ones. However, anyhow I had lost it out of sight. However, now there is my new angel - The Engel of innocence!

My Daughter Sarah say to me - this is an "Punk Angel" because of her hair :-)

Ahhh...winter winds and air conditioning...invented for menopausal women.....

My journey with cancer.....I have some good news I wanted to share with everyone.

I went for my three week check up yesterday (following surgery).

When Dr. Jutzi sat down she said, "I think you're done" and I said "Done, good or Done bad?" She told me that she believes my cancer is gone. No need for more chemo or hormones.

The tumour that was entangled and attached to my large bowel was endometriosis, which means that my cancer had not metastasized. She said it was surprising in someone that has gone through menopause, but it must have broken off and attached to my bowels, maybe quite some time ago. The other tumour that she removed, ended up being benign. The tumours that were in my omentum seem to have disappeared. Dr. Jutzi said she wishes she had done the surgery a year ago before I went through chemo.

Unfortunately scans and tests can only tell so much of the story, and that is what they rely on.

I'm cautiously optimistic at the moment, because for five years I have been told that they were just trying to extend my life in the most healthy way. I'm a little scared to get really happy yet (although I am happy). I have to go for tests every 3 months, and watch my body for signs.

I have another 2 weeks to go before I can lift and really exercise and get back out there with my camera (although after my appt yesterday we drove around looking for owls - found 1 barred and 7 snowy owls). It was nice to get out.

I wanted to thank everyone again for all of your prayers and support, I couldn't have survived the last five years without my family and friends.

I must be nearing menopause.

Stranger than usual?

Very much so. I'm sweating, I'm angry for no reason and I could cry anytime.

Oh, them hormones. It's called menopause, my mum has that too.

I'm an old lady now. Menopause is soon to follow. Hot flashes and all.

Red clover, while seemingly common, boasts several interesting facts. It's a legume known for its nitrogen-fixing ability, enriching the soil, and its use as a forage crop. It also contains phytoestrogens, plant-based compounds similar to estrogen, and is sometimes used to alleviate menopausal symptoms. Furthermore, it's the national flower of Denmark and the state flower of Vermont.

Well I never, Aarash told me Fly Agaric tincture was commonly used by Afghan women to ease the symptoms of Menopause where they grow under pine trees in Montane Conifer Forest! You learn something new everyday.

It seems lately Mother Nature doesn't know what she wants. My daughter suggested she may be going through menopause

Macro Mondays-Handle With Care

I think many women have a very hard time dealing with Menopause, and sometimes you have to handle them with care!

The title of this piece has nothing to do with Menopause...

"Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

Turn and face the strange..." All very well for you to say, Bowie. You didn''t have to go through the menopause.

The texture on the curtains is intentionally cringe. This image is meant to make the viewer feel uncomfortable and on edge. Haptic photography...
