Love it when they breach the surface and you get this hint of a menacing smile. Truly awe inspiring animals.
I was photographing the bright colours of the unsettled sunset sky when I looked to the West and saw the moon shining between the menacing clouds and the bright blue sky.
En cette soirée du 1ier Août 2014, la seule menace qui plane au dessus de la BB 7247 est l'orage.
Elle est vue peu après la halte de Vougeot - Gilly-lès-Cîteaux filant à toute vitesse vers Lyon, avec un des nombreux TER Bourgogne de l'axe Paris - Dijon - Lyon à la charge de cette série de locomotives.
En Juillet 2023, plusieurs BB 7200 Bourguignonnes se retrouvent retirées du service et trois d'entre elles ont déjà été acheminés vers un ferrailleur.
Les 24 Regiolis (Z54500) assurant leur remplacement étant quasiment tous livrés.
Une belle page se tourne...

These four farm trucks sitting out on a field rusting away make for a great photo op. The 1947-1949 Chevrolet truck sits between its older cousins from the early 1920s. The International on the left appears to be 1965 and is in decent shape considering it's sitting out in the elements.
66065 eases her train forward through the loading facility at Cwmbargoed open cast colliery. She had arrived with the 0531 from Margam and will depart loaded as the 6C83 1130 back to Margam.
The weather was very changeable with bright spells and heavy showers with menacing clouds in-between.

La Perdrix grise est une espèce menacée au Québec. La perte d'habitats étant la principale cause de son déclin. Hormis son déclin, sa facilité à se confondre dans son environnement rend cet oiseau difficile à observer et par surcroît difficile à photographier.

A juvenile bald eagle perches menacingly on an empty nesting mound as a group of American White Pelicans drift by in the Shiawassee NWR, Michigan. This was an interesting drama to behold, with the pelicans bunching up like this as they drifted near the young raptor.
