The three houses i grew up in and how they look now (2011). I have great memories in all these houses.
somehow i thought this package was already lost in the mail... especially since i saw how the Xeons arrived in the mail a few days back (not insured or such)...
But... it seems my package with the true value written on the outside got held up at the border and i had to pay taxes on it...
Well... that's better than getting lost in total, right?
So, I think this was the last part for my never ending server number two, i better get going now and colocate this thing! ^_^
I later rest in my head
Sputter when i never return
I'll forget everything you left
I can hope
That now i'm always looking back on a scripted memories
Look at how i've grown, just see.
The burdens you put on us got me to be
What i'm supposed to be
He breathes in deep,
It helps him realize how everything in his whole life progressed
He's fine i swear
And he'll confess to you cause
Tonight he'll find his way back home
Forget about the plans we made
I'll never let this go

Don't you just hate it when you try to recover from a break up and end up having everything remind you of that person?
It's for our pintel exhibit on Oct. 17 in our school. This is actually based on a picture (which link i still need to find. sorry). I've always wanted to paint a night scene in the rain, just never had the chance.
As I was painting, I was listening to the song above and thought to myself "this would really suck if i just copy it". Then one like struck me "memories of you" so I decided to base the changed details on, well, my break up. Let's see if you could spot any?

Working on a memory game for children on the iPad. In this (very simple) level the crocodiles will have their mouths closed to begin with - but opening to reveal fruit as you touch them.
Amy painting portrait of Tabitha for the Memory Portrait Project, to benefit the El Shadai Foster Home in Uganda, Africa.
I always seek out the stunning and memorable views when on vacation.
Compare this picture with my old upload 'Memory from Loimaa' and corresponding photos from Google Maps.
You must agree that this time my photo is much nicer than Google's.

Curiously, in this case (and presently) Flicr maps work quite well. Because it looks like no-one else except me have ever posted a photo from this area to Flickr.

With time, memories fall and fade.
But they still do remain as colourful as ever.
Clicked the solitary leaf, hinting at the colours of fall, beside the Seine river, Paris. No editing done whatsoever.

ODC Challenge...Resolution...As always, #1 Moderation...
This memory goes back to our days with friends in St. Louis, back when 'moderation' was not always adhered to. Older and wiser now, I still need reminding from time to time.
The memory of my lunch box and what my mother put inside it.
The memory of going to baseball games at Westgate Park where I watched Tony Perez play as a minor leaguer. Two of my baseball hero's are pictured here... Ted William and Eddie Mathews (both of San Diego}.
The memory of owning my first pocket knife and wristwatch.
The memory of marbles and all the other games I played.
And lastly the memory of my bullfrog 'Black Jack'. Once homework and chores were finished my parents let me off to the fields and the canyons. The memory of all the snakes, lizards, and insects that I brought home and was allowed to keep. Black Jack shown here was donated to The San Diego Zoo one day and my dad and I were brought back behind the displays to see everything there!
I lived a very full and active life as a boy...

“Father owned a lot of properties but he never paid off the mortgages. He never used his capital wisely. He owned a number of properties, including these two, and always had tenants coming and going. My memory is a little vague and I should ask my grandmother, but of course I can’t. We moved houses all the time as tenants came and went…”
There are still some signs to be seen of a summer long gone.
Strobist: Fired the flash directly from close to the ground on the bottom right of the photo to get some textures going.
