No one tagged me, but I read Lucy's ages ago and she said "consider yourself tagged" so yeah...

1. How long have you been in the BJD hobby?

Umm.. on and off for about 6 years I think. I go through periods of inactivity when other parts of my life kind of take over, but I always wind up back with my dolls sooner or later.

2. How many dolls do you have at home?

I have 7 at home right now.

3. What are their names and sculpts?

In order of arrival:

Pip - Pukipuki Cupid

Squeak - Pukipuki Flora

Imogen - Lati Yellow Rabbit Cookie

Rowan - Lati Yellow X-Mas Elf Miel

Whimsy - Pukipuki Pongpong

Bronwyn - Minifee Shushu

Tibbie - Pipos Caramel Ringo

4. Who have you had the longest? How long has it been?

I've had Pip and Squeak the longest. I bought them in the summer of 2008, so they've been around just under 6 years.

6. Which doll is your favourite?

Imogen. I've been having a hard time with her recently, especially since she's so old and floppy, but she is still very very special to me.

7. Are you waiting on any dolls?

Yes. I have a Minifee Mirwen and Pukipuki Pipi on order. They should hopefully be shipping sometime in the next few weeks. I'm really excited about them because Mirwen is going to become a character I've been planning for as long as Bronwyn, and Pipi is a doll I've wanted ever since they came out and just never bought for some reason.

8. What is your grail doll?

Oh man. I don't know. I have a lot of larger dolls that I love but would never buy because I'm not into the larger sizes... does that count? If so then maybe I will go with Migidoll Ryu or Luts Delf If (what a beauty).

9. Has the hobby taught you anything new?

I've learned a few new skills, like photo editing and photography in general. I wouldn't say that my photos are anything special, but I'm pleased with how much I've improved.

10. Have you made any friends through the hobby?

Not really. I'm shy and I keep to myself, so I've never really connected with any other doll owners on a deeper "friendship" level. I'm a bit jealous of those people who can just make friends no problem. I've never been like that.

11. What are your doll plans this year?

Hmm... right now I'm saving up for a boy, probably Luts Model Delf Dion. I posted a wishlist a while ago and I would love to get some more of those dolls too, but I think right now I ought to focus on getting clothes and shoes and eyes for the ones already at home. Bronwyn and Imogen in particular could really use some new clothes.
