Finally built this... Had to wait for the black and red mudguards to arrive from the Netherlands. Not very happy with the modification, but it works. Still need to fine tune it a bit.

i had a really awesome day today hung out with friends and got art supplies.

there was a mega huge moon tonight and if you look closely at the lens flare at the top it somewhat retained detail from the moon. it actually creeped me out a bit while editing.

Earlier to Pierre "The starfighter I made was meant to be closely based on yours but made fatter/beefier/chunkier. I was thinking as if yours was a light and fast fighter, mine would be the heavily armored slow version. Yours had a zippy wasp like quality, so mine would have a hefty queen bee type quality. I've taken many aesthetic cues from set 6869 Mega Core magnetizer as it was one of my childhood favorites. You'll have to let me know if that came across in the final look of mine!"
