We're back from Malta. The beauty of landscapes not leave us indifferent. Begin with the beautiful cliffs on the south coast of the island of Gozo. Here in Xlendi we arrived at sundown. A row of very impressive cliffs soaked with a golden light was simply irresistible.

Another wonderful place in our tour of the island of Gozo. Azure Window has become a symbol of Malta. Many tourists come here for a day but in the evening the site is emptied gradually and you can admire this magnificent work of nature more easily. I miss that in May the sun does not set through the window. It must be even more beautiful.
Un autre endroit merveilleux dans notre visite de l'île de Gozo. Azur Window est devenu symbole de Malte. Beaucoup des touristes viennent ici pour une journée mais le soir au coucher du soleil le site se vide progressivement et on peut admirer ce superbe œuvre de la nature plus facilement. J'ai regretté que au mois de mai le soleil ne se couche pas à travers la fenêtre. Ça doit être encore plus magnifique.

For our last night on Malta we arrived in the capital Valletta. From the terrace of our hotel the view was stunning on the three cities and the Grand Harbour. In the evening when the heat of the day melt away with the south wind the magic happens during those unforgettable moments.
As I was looking for a nice spot, I noticed a little boat, between rocks and sun. Life can be so good on such moments, that nothing else matters !

Nature is really awesome on the south coast of Malta. The most beautiful place is definitely the Blue Grotto. Here the natural arch formed by erosion in the cliffs from above.
La nature est vraiment grandiose sur la côte sud de Malte. Le plus beau endroit est certainement la Grotte Bleu. Ici l'arche naturelle formé par l’érosion dans les falaises vu d'en haut.

I discovered this little white sand beach when hiking at the Cap Taillat, white sand which gives these shades of blue to the sea.

It looks like the time has stopped in the small Maltese fishing port in Birzebbuga located in Pretty Bay. The architecture has not changed for centuries and still the same small fishing boats called "luzzu" go to sea. The colors and the charm of Mediterannée are so present here. You almost forget the presence of a Royal Navy airfield and a huge ultramodern port Kalafrana nearby.
On dirait que le temps s'est arrêté dans le petit port de pêche maltais à Birzebbuga situé dans le Pretty Bay. L'architecture n'a pas changé depuis des siècles et toujours les mêmes petits bateaux de pêche appelés "luzzu" partent en mer. Les couleurs et charme de la Méditerranée sont tellement présent ici. On oublie presque la présence d'un aérodrome Royal Navy et d'un énorme port ultramoderne de Kalafrana à proximité.
In our tour of the south coast of Malta we have some rest at Ghar Lapsi, a small cove with clear water all surrounded by rocks. It is a paradise for divers. The sea was rough and the waves were breaking against the rocks at the entrance to the cove. This allowed me to try long exposure of 15 sec with my filter 10 stops.

Dans notre visite de la côte sud de Malte nous avons fait une petite pose à Ghar Lapsi, une petite crique aux eaux limpides toute entourée des roches. C'est le paradis des plongeurs. La mer était agitée et les vagues se cassaient contre les roches à l'entrée de la crique. Cela m'a permit d'essayer longue exposition de 15 sec avec mon filtre de 10 stops.

Our journey on Malta led us in the late afternoon in Marsaskala, another small fishing port transformed into a resort. Placed in a cove protected by the fortifications that once traditional port still retains its charm. The quays bordered with restaurants and cafes offer rest and bay views. This time just when the sun disappeared behind the horizon was tremendous.
Take at Marsaskala with LEE GND 0.9 SOFT filter.
Notre périple sur Malte nous a amené en fin de journée à Marsaskala, un autre petit port de pêche transformé en station balnéaire. Logé dans une anse et protégé par les fortifications ce port jadis traditionnel garde toujours son charme. Les quais bordés par des restaurants et cafés offrent un repos et la vue sur la baie. Ce moment juste quand le soleil a disparu derrière l'horizon était splendide.
Fait à Marsaskala avec le filtre LEE GND 0.9 soft.
L'île de la Pietra est une petite île baignée par la mer Méditerranée en Balagne. Elle est reliée par une digue, au port de la commune de l'Île-Rousse en Haute-Corse . Située au nord-ouest de la ville, l'Île de la Pietra comporte deux points forts de la commune : le phare de la Pietra et la tour génoise ruinée.
