I think its probably been over three years since I have photographed a Robin. Something I would look forward to every winter when they come down from the Mountains and can be found closer to home. They visit the farm every year so I was able to play with this lovely make Flame Robin (Petroica phoenicea) who was rather bold and posed for me nicely on this pole. I couldn't get near the females.
Our time ended on abit of a sad note when I found the resident Echidna that has featured in some of my photos hit by a car out the front. She was alive so I stood by her to stop other idiots speeding past and doing more damage while the Sherpa got a box and some gloves (very spiky animals).
None of the Vets were open so we got in contact with Wildlife Victoria. We eventually got connected with a lovely couple who were wildlife carers 20 minutes away and took the echidna there. She was hit on the nose which is their most sensitive part. I couldn't tell what other damage had been done. My main concern was that she was in pain and suffering. The couple were a retired nurse and medic so the echidna was in good hands and will get pain relief. The carers will take it to Healesville Sanctuary and if it can be saved, it will nursed back to health and released right back where we found her. I am hoping for a good outcome.

D'abord appelée « grotte du Luxembourg », elle a connu plusieurs modifications et, au XIXe siècle, est même déplacée dans le jardin à la suite du percement de la rue de Médicis, effectué dans le cadre des travaux d'urbanisme du préfet Haussmann à Paris. Ce qui n'était alors qu'un portique de style italien devient une fontaine. Auguste Ottin y ajoute un groupe de trois personnages mythologiques intitulé Polyphème surprenant Galatée dans les bras d'Acis. Polyphème, cyclope légendaire, est amoureux de Galatée, jeune et belle déesse marine. Accroupi sur un rocher, une peau de bête sur le dos, il observe Galatée dans les bras d'Acis. Tous deux sont langoureusement allongés au bord de l'eau. Le contraste est saisissant entre la masse énorme et sombre du cyclope et la blancheur du duo des deux jeunes gens. De plus, la forme même du bassin procure l'illusion que le plan d'eau est incliné.

La Villa Medici è un complesso architettonico situato sulla collina del Pincio accanto a Trinità dei Monti a Roma. Ospita dal 1803 l'Accademia di Francia a Roma.
Dopo la morte di Enrico II la vedova, Caterina de' Medici, fece di tutto per scacciare Diane dal castello forzandola ad accettare lo scambio con il castello di Chaumont. Caterina de Medici ne fece la sua residenza preferita aggiungendo altri giardini. Nel suo periodo da reggente di Francia spese ingenti somme per il castello e per organizzarvi feste e intrattenimenti. Nel 1560, in occasione dell'ascesa al trono di suo figlio Francesco II, vi organizzò il primo spettacolo pirotecnico mai visto nel paese.
Nel 1589, alla morte di Caterina de' Medici il castello andò alla nuora, Luisa di Lorena, moglie di re Enrico III, questa apprese della morte del marito mentre risiedeva a Chenonceau, cadde in una profonda depressione, e trasformò il castello da luogo di feste in un luogo tetro e silenzioso.
I made this year ago and now i found it again :D its not the best painting but... ohh and the helmet.. the white and red cross is suppose to be made of the medic so it looks like he have painted it on.

Where the clouds touch the ground, lies 'Cloud House'. A snapshot of a former time, contained throughout. Everywhere you turn a reminder of days gone by. A stealthy approach and leaps of faith will reward the foolhardy.
Not my best panning but it was a rather quick grab while I walking from work. Taken behind the Peterson Event Center. I am not sure if the unit was responding to a scene or if transporting to the VA Medical Center just up the street.

Build this medic car for a contest on Brickpirate where you have to build an emergency (police, firefighters, first aid...) supercar, in the speed champion style. And the optionnal base/stand should not be bigger than 16x32 studs, which is quite small for a vehicle this size.
I've wanted to build a cateram-like car for a long time, so this was the perfect time. It's still a bit too bulky, especially on the rer end.
