Hey guys, it's been a while since I posted something, but here is a mech I built a few months ago as part of a BrickzLab challenge. I didn't feel like posting only the mech without some terrain to add a little contrast. I hope you like the design and a happy new year!

OMG! A NEW BUILD!

It has been a while since I've posted anything new. I've been wanting to take a stab at creating a compact, posable mecha. This is the result of some freestyle building over the last week. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with the shaping and proportions. I will probably place a Bricklink order or two to get some parts to clean it up and add a few finishing touches (and maybe some custom stickers too).

Don't be afraid -- Mecha only looks fierce. He's really a sweetie, like all the huskies I've met. I was delighted to encounter him again today, and he posed nicely for a few photos. He was on his way home from the vet, and was a bit loopy from the gabapentin. His name is a Hawaiian word; I made sure to ask the spelling this time.

Construction mecha - Latest iteration of the mecha that I posted recently (I'll have another soon that will be more gundam-style, but need some more parts to polish it up)

Severed are the seas.

The Sirens sing of ruin.

The earth laid prostrate.

Some of the design is inspired by the Zaku mobile suits from Gundam.

Much love to Djokson & Ari

This is my tank mecha... Any criticism?

One of my favorite builders has to be Ironsniper, who has proved time and time again that his skills at mecha are extreme. So, after being inspired by his work, I decided to make another mecha of my own. Hope you all like! -Also, I've never come across a Lego element that's useless! God bless! :D

(some pros added)

Old build done for Hibernia. Meant to be a terraforming/mining vehicle utilised in rugged environments.

Kurashikaru meka,

nothing special, kinda was taken along by my actual mech building.

tweaks, adjustments, retouches, new pics

So yeah, this was going to be my Brickarms Battle Beasts entry, but I didn't realize we couldn't post WIP shots.

So I now have a mecha piloted by a monkey.

:P

Just waiting for a fight in Sky Sanctuary...

I've been itching to build another mech for a while, but I really wanted to build something badass! This guy's based off my Moodland Scale Samurai Vader fig with some serious Gundam influence.

Expect more pics tomorrow!

The Galactic Inquisition has been busy since the events on planet Cornucopia. Here's a new mech prototype using technology reverse engineered from the captured alien vessel.

The design for this mech was partially inspired by this drawing. It's my own interpretation, of course, but I really liked the bulky, overly armored feel from the drawing. The tan bulb on the right arm is intended to be a weapon reverse-engineered from the Emissary's space ship.

Some sort of serpent mecha guardian thingy.

While I do like walking tank style mechs with heavy weaponry and thick boxy armor, I sometimes feel like there are many unexplored aesthetics within the mecha genre. I thought it would be fun to do a mech with more organic elements and no guns.

My entry into round two of the Hardsuit All-stars Contest.

Largest mecha that I've ever built.

Every inch has been worked and re-worked.

It still may be updated if I get the time to do so.

C&C welcome!

This fantastic life-size Alien sculpture is made entirely out of scrap metal. I discovered it on a walk through Grub, Appenzell Ausserrhoden.

Ike's cool and Mack's chill, and together they're ready to grind like hard drives on these streets!

The Legs are from The AT-AT model....the rest is monsterized

"Build a banana mecha!" -Devid VII

I've had this thing sitting around without finished legs or weapons for a while now, so I decided instead of wasting time spinning gears over building it, I decided I just had to throw together the rest of it or waste time building something I wasn't having fun with. So sorry for the sloppy feet and weapons. Hope you understand. The banana part was fun to build though.

I'm putting the last two 500 followers builds on hold for a bit (GLaDOS and a Knightmare Frame), while I work on some mecha related projects for a bit. I'll get to them eventually, they're just not top priorities right now.

Just messing around with the mecha minifig.

Joe Prime, TF Commander!

Finally found time to take a picture of the diorama I built last spring.

It don't seem to...

Managed to get the legs to hold the weight. Thank goodness for those rubber pieces to give additional friction for the legs. Might redo the arms as i feel they are a bit lacking. The rest of the parts i am quite happy with how it turned out

Based on the experimental K-Gundam frame.

OMG it’s been three months now! I haven’t done any MOC mecha ever since. I do miss making a moc a mecha :( but let move on here. Hope there is a progress here with my MOC diorama hanger. The wall extended and more LED light added and it’s much brighter now. It help to bring out the details. Speaking of details ignore the unfinished walkway platform on the top.

I was listening to Basement Jaxx track Romeo (ascetic version) in the middle of the night damn awesome, Sweet Jazz music.
