Built for the Vignweek 2020 day 1 prompt of "Lair" even though I am ineligible because this is a digital entry. I'm doing it for the challenge!

I really like the train windscreens and will have to buy some in real bricks in the summer. Apologies for some bricks in this vehicle possibly not existing these colours.

A small pod skims the surface of the arid Ffestiniog valley.
++++++++++++++++++++++++
This little pod came doodles I made in LDD. It started with the big arch pieces and my wanting to make a round pod with a tail using them. I've imported my LDD version into Mecabricks. People can virtually twirl it around or take it to bits, which is fun: www.mecabricks.com/en/models/KZvm5Ke3vG6
Built for the the LEGO House: 20,000 Bricks Under the Sea challenge on Lego Ideas.
I'd previously tinkered with a dirona design in Mecabricks and had wanted to create a character to match. Nudibranchs and other small sea creatures have lots of unique shapes and body features that I thought would be interesting to translate into a humanoid character. The ocean-themed challenge on Lego Ideas—with a chance for entries to be displayed at the Lego House—was the spark I needed to start working on this scene.
Why wouldn't you want to drive around in a car shaped like a hot dog? i think that something stuck in my brain from a childhood Richard Scarry book.
Anyway, there's plenty of room inside for fuel and mustard, so what's not to like?
A compact, yet spacious load carrier, generally used in spaceport and large factories.

The idea of this vehicle made me smile because it looks as though it should be possible to stretch it out, like a spring.
Thought the new Trolls hair piece 65463 would work well as the tip of a paint brush.

For, y'know, hauling stuff.

A luxury, high-speed space yacht used for racing in the outer reaches of the solar system's disc. The ship's large "keel" was actually a heat-sink, used for dispersing the waste heat from its engines and other machinery.

I've made a few changes to my Ideas project "The Working Telescope".
You can read about it on Lego Ideas and, if you wish, and if it's not already the case, support it so it could become a real set :

I built this TIE a couple years ago as part of a Christmas contest, so I went back, recolored it, and made a hangar diorama for it. Enjoy!

It's been a while since I made a Tron themed build. This one isn't inspired by any thing from the universe but rather by the Hallgrimskirkja in Iceland. There's also a hidden display for a Tron Minifigure in the back, currently featuring Rinzler.

Another version of recently uploaded Type 37. Credit for inspiration goes to my friend Kiren and roadster/cruiser rendition of his Somekon Aurora - feel free to check the model and support him on Flickr/Ideas.
Basically this is just the same car, but with different pseudo non-fixed roof layout, meant to be removable like on the real phaetons. Back part renders and phaeton with folded roof will appear a bit later. Car colouring and whitewalls are a small homage to Lassiter V16 Phaeton from amazing videogame named Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven.

Totally inspired by Alego Alego's model. I hope that it's okay that the cockpit slope/curved brick isn't directly attached to the 62743 piece. Unlike last year, this is digital, as it'll be a month until I'm back home with my real bricks.
I wanted to use the decorated fins for the wings (which I own in real bricks!) but the decorations aren't in Mecabricks' catalogue (which is vast). www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=6239pb073...

A two-seat transporter, with 12 tyres, giving a low pressure footprint. This machine was ideal for swampy planets or planets covered in deserts. The vehicle also performed well on planets covered in desserts, as its balloon tyres coped well with surfaces such as whipped cream, custard or blancmange.
waiter! waiter! more unconventional wheel layouts please!!
The thing I built a day before Roadblaster. Nothing too fancy - couldn't get around lack of effective width, but I hope it evokes those Drome vibes at least a little bit.
The Skycarrier hosts a squadron of fighter and attacker aircraft, stored safely out of the wind and weather in a lightweight airframe.
Takeoff is normally into the wind from the forward deck, with landing operations clear at the stern. Emergency scrambles may be launched from both decks, however.
In normal operation, deployable spoilers extend from the landing deck to disrupt airflow over landed planes, allowing safe use of the elevator even at moderate airspeeds.
I had an intrusive thought about building something around these Technic panels, that resulted in a spontaneous Drome Racers binge walkthrough (Torq Racer FTW) and... this. The aesthetic of yesteryear's Technic/Racers design, which I cherish to this day, is obviously unmatched, but at least there was a try =p
P.S. Turbine rims from the otherwise useless Cars 3 set (LEGO, why, just why) were beautifully recreated in Mecabricks by SiMaI7. The whole build wouldn't be the same without his effort. <3
Used a moto piece and the new reverse antistud clips to make a new quad. Now to find some lunar-sheep to round up.

A Star Wars vehicle I've been meaning to design for a while now. Always loved the hot rod aesthetic of the XJ-6. And Mecabricks was the perfect place to quickly whip up a design.

"Purple spaceman, this is Blacktron squad βτ-22 ! Blacktron leadership has declared coloured space suits illegal ! Accept to dye your space suit black or you will be arrested ! I guarantee you, you do not want to end up like the Teal spaceman ! We are not kidding, and it is absolutely not because we are jealous of your fabulous outfits !"
So I had this silly idea of Blacktron being some sort of fashion police that enforces very strict laws when it comes to space suits colours. While the story surrounding it is absolutely ludicrous, the model itself has been designed very seriously, and comes with several play features :
• Front missiles launchers
• Removable turret and antenna (can be placed on the rover or the speeder)
• Suit decoloration chamber storage compartment in the back, with a button to eject the chamber
• Weapons and antenna storage compartments on each side, with foldable ladders
I tried to build a model that was as fun and playable as possible, and also that looks awesome !
This is my entry for the 90th Anniversary : Space Celebrations contest on LEGO IDEAS. You can see the model in 3D on Mecabricks. Many thanks to my buddy Shaddowtoa for his input.

The Akrep 48 rolled off the assembly lines in post-war Iksandria, but the tank has seen service around the world on a scale almost comparable to the MeMe-21 fighter. It earned a reputation as a capable medium tank with a solid balance of speed, armor, and punch, but all of that pales in comparison to its service life. The '48 has fought Xinhai communists in the fifties, Samarians in the sixties, and is still serving small nations like Chad and Giraffistan in the early nineties.
A return to my set revamp of 5978: Sphinx Secret Surprise for this week's #johnnythunderthursday . I haven't really done much with Mecabricks lately, mainly because I wanted to focus on actual physical Lego instead of digital stuff.
I made a few improvements here and there, recoloured some builds, added a proper background and some hieroglyphics on the obelisk. Small changes, but they make a big difference.
A "little" scene built for the current "Your build in the world-famous LEGO House!" contest on LEGO IDEAS.
Diogenes Trexler was about to enjoy a pizza - the best in the galaxy, according to him - on Korvon, when a giant worm, attracted by the smell, appeared. Diogenes quickly opened a portal to flee, but didn't really think of where to go, so it's in the poor Morgan Birch's bathroom that his portal led.
To get a better look at the model, you can see it in 3D on Mecabricks.

HR exists, even on a moonbase. The office might have some weird piping routed through it, but at least it has some windows.
This vignette was inspired by Mandalorianknight on Eurobricks, who suggested that Classic Space HR should be Beige.

So this is just a touch up on the fist Bi-Wing Baron design I made a few years back. It shares the same basic base design as Harry Cane's biplane, save for the engine design, tail length and the lower wings being a tad shorter in length.
Dark red felt like a more appropriate colour for our evil treasure hunter, along with a few gold elements here and there.
For anyone asking about the Scorpion, mecabricks doesn't have the original mold in their part library. So I had to compromise and turn a crab into a scorpion
The Phantasm was an experimental "thin ship". It was built from parts that many people claimed didn't exist in the real world.
++++++++++++++++++++++++
Normally when I build in LDD, I stick to parts that only exist as real bricks. I thought I'd be a bit more care-free with this model. Its shape and colours were inspired
by an image in a collection of ideas by Shannon Sproule.
It would be great to make something with even more patterns. However, the arch pieces take up a lot of room, as do the changes of stud direction. Perhaps a larger model could be two bricks thick, which would give a bit more freedom for connecting things.
