The time has come yet again. I can't believe it has already been a whole year since the last Star Wars Day. Star Wars means a lot to me. It's my whole life. Star Wars Day is an awesome holiday to celebrate this amazing franchise! Because I'm homeschooled, my mom gave me today off of school because she knows how much I love Star Wars. My mom is awesome.
Here's a picture to celebrate this special day! These are all of my Lego Star Wars figures to date (Excluding duplicates and some different versions of characters). Well, I hope you all enjoy, and I'm going to get back to watching all 6 Star Wars movies! :)
Comments and Favorites Appreciated.
Keeping with this weekend’s Star Wars theme. My daughter got this for me as a Christmas present. I really had a blast putting it together. Happy Star Wars Day +1
May the fourth be with you!

Kuat model: R24 halberd
Designation: I-wing
The mad engineers at Kuat Systems Engineering took on some of the requests from the newer resistance pilots and applied it to their ace in the hole. The R24 Halberd is a sort of successor to the RZ-2 A-wing.
Pilots took note of the B-wings agility incorporated a more agile body layout with a pivoting cockpit. Centred the engines and increased the amount of directional vanes. Many pilots would joke how the engineers are still just fitting the biggest and fastest engines they could to a chair. Pilots also wished to inflict more damage. So kuat slapped the biggest ion cannon they could fit… more jokes ensued about overcompensating until these I-wings started taking out capital ships while taking minimal damage due to the new found agility.
Due to the larger power draw of the ion canon, its laser cannons were swapped out for smaller faster repeaters that operate off less energy. With how fast and agile the I-wing was, the loss of range in dog fights is negated. I-wings were very demanding of the pilots abilities and not great for drawn out fights. But if you wanted to be an ace pilot in the resistance forever pushing the boundaries of your abilities, this was the starfighter
Happy #starwarsday !
This build was originally started for TJ the Brickwright. I couldn’t finish it in time. But since picking it back up It’s taken me a while to figure out the construction of the nose. I really wanted to get that sharp bladed edge for the nose.
My Star Wars day Lego.com order finally arrived last night! I got the Battle on Takodana, a First Order battlepack, a Resistance Trooper battlepack, a free First Order Stormtrooper minifigure and a free Force Awakens poster in Lego form! I find it pretty awesome how everything I bought was Force Awakens related. Even though the "Exclusive figure" is a waste and isn't anything special, it's nice to add it to my First Order army. The poster is very nice, I have one for each Original Trilogy movie just like it on the walls in my room. I can add this one to my other wall. These are also my second First Order and Resistance battlepacks. I needed to get these two to grow my armies a bit more. :)
Anyway, that's all for now...
It’s Star Wars Day and the occasion sees the return of two the most popular characters from my works: the badass Jedi Wookiee, aka Space Bigfoot, and Kylo Ren in his slimy snake form (he is a snake in every sense of the word).
The wise Wookiee knows a Star Wars Day without Kylo is a better day. The Tantrum Knight’s rage outbursts can easily ruin any celebration. He will surely start crying “Help me, Vader”, bothering everyone around and then he will smash things with his Lightsaber, damaging Star Wars collectibles among the other things.
The heroic Space Bigfoot can’t allow it and he decides to fend off Kylo. But since it’s Star Wars Day so he wants to do it in the coolest way possible and what’s cooler than a Lightsaber wielding Wookiee chasing Kylo Snake? Simple: a Lightsaber wielding Wookiee chasing Kylo Snake… riding a Velociraptor!
May the Fourth be with You, my friends :)
Have a marvelous Star Wars Day :)
I wanted to make a fun and cool scene to celebrate Star Wars Day in an original way, so I thought about putting the Jedi Wookiee on a Velociraptor and chase Kylo in his snake hehe form :)
I hope you like it :)
May the Brick be with You :)

The time has come once again for all of us Star Wars fans to celebrate and watch Star Wars all day! This year I watched one movie a day. I started on Friday with The Phantom Menace, then watched Attack of The Clones Saturday, Revenge of The Sith Sunday, A New Hope Monday, The Empire Strikes Back yesterday, and I will be watching Return of The Jedi tonight to finish it off! Also, I watched The Force Awakens two weeks ago. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this little picture I made and I hope you had an awesome Star Wars Day! May The 4th Be With You...Always...
the boys got a call from Darth this morning inviting them over for a barbeque, "strange" they thought, then they remembered the date.

What day is it kiddies? May July the Fourth and a new sky be with you. I came up with a new way to trek over to Roger's Grove for Independence Day fireworks at the medical grass dispensary. As an added bonus, the evening sky served up a dandy light show in itself. I thought that I would be able to stroll over to watch the evening's festivities but I had to stop several times at various spots to peruse the sky. I liked this spot because of the derelict standing up on the left. I should have gotten the dead stump standing up over on the right to be more realistic. The derelict should actually be more orange.
And again, this day is the announcement by the bigs of the end of independence from American industrialists as more citizens are locked into laboring for the man. Will the Orangman limit all fireworks to his own speeches against immigrants? I sure hope I don't get hit by any of the fireworks: I am only on Medicare and the righties are into disassembling all American health care. The Kochs buy their own health while serving up poison to the riff-raff.
I hauled along my medium telephoto-zoom that I like to hand hold for light and fireworks shows. My sky shots were all going to be constrained by the mild telephoto. I wanted the evening to replay the year I took shelter under a Roger's Grove tree during the heavenly sprinkle. Tell the Pruett Parade that we need ANY sort of a sprinkle around here; it might help with all of Colorado's forest fires. If you are interested in moving to Colorado's Rockies, I have some wide open spaces for you.
I named this capture Skyworks because of the upcoming fireworks show. I was there to make a statement for independence... from billionaires. They can stay... if they pay even close to their share of taxes, that is. I fail to remember that the word "billionaires was in the phrase," ...of the people, by the people and for the people!
Quick! Get the house on the market; the Empire has moved in next door...

Another series change of direction and it looks like it is cloudsing in and I set down my camera to pray mightily for rain from the evening orange god. Anything wet would work. And again, this day is the announcement by the bigs of the end of independence from American industrialists as more citizens are locked into slaving for the man... so long as your labor is cheap enough to compete. Will the Orangman limit all fireworks to his own speeches against immigrants? Did he survey any of his immigrants? I sure hope I don't get hit by any of the fireworks: I am only on Medicare and the righties are into disassembling all manner of American health care. I got this promotion for Star Wars Day in the mail from Lego and it has a bunch of exclusive offers! I thought I'd share this with you all. As it states, you can receive a free exclusive First Order stormtrooper minifigure (with orders of $50 or more), double VIP points, a free The Force Awakens poster in Lego form (with any Lego Star Wars purchase), and of course some sets will be on sale as well.
I'm excited for the poster and the double VIP points, but honestly...They wasted an opportunity to make an amazing figure. Star Wars Day is usually when Lego comes out with an awesome, exclusive, never before seen figure...But this year...They decided to throw in a figure that you can easily acquire in a battle pack...A BATTLE PACK! Battle packs are only $15 dollars...There is nothing good about this figure and I am super disappointed in Lego. "But OMG he comes with a backpack and a little extra pouch printed on the torso!!!!" NO. Big deal. Who cares. It's worthless. Hell, I would've been fine if the figure was simply a background character from The Force Awakens, something we've never seen before, but NOPE. Whatever...it is what it is. Sorry for my little rant there.
Anyway, that's all for now!
The Force was strong with this one: The #SpaceX #CRS17 #Falcon9, launched and landed (!!!) as seen from the roof of the VAB.
Congrats, @elonmusk and team, #MayTheFourthBeWithYou!
This was supposed to be a Milky Way composite, but the moisture in the air combined with the rather bright lights around the Vehicle Assembly Building made the shot I had in mind an impossibility. The lights that illuminate the front of the VAB are very bright, so much so that you can see the VAB's shadow in the thin cloud above us (top left of the frame). You can see the cloud of the Milky Way, but it's very faint, and mostly washed out from all the surrounding light.
The main attraction is, of course, the launch and landing of the #CRS17 #Falcon9, creating streaks that cross mid-frame. At the top of the streak, you can faintly see the first stage as it turns around to head back to the Cape. The fuzziness in the frame is from the resulting plume, and it was really lovely -- I underexposed it in my tight shot, but Erik Kuna has a fantastic close-up of it.
Details: Composite, rocket streak frame was ISO100 and 519-seconds at f18, and the star frame was taken 12-minutes before the launch at ISO2500, 15-secs and f2.8.
I should also acknowledge Declan Murphy and his FlightClub.io tool, which was instrumental to planning this shot.
Kepler-22b, analog to the Star Wars planet Kamino…which was the birthplace of the army of clone soldiers, is a super-Earth that could be covered in a super ocean. The jury is still out on Kepler-22b’s true nature; at 2.4 times Earth’s radius, it might even be gaseous. But if the ocean world idea turns out to be right, we can envision a physically plausible Kamino-like planet.
