Skellig Rocks, County Kerry, Ireland
Skellig Michael has risen to dramatic prominence due to its starring role as Luke Skywalker’s Island Sanctuary on the planet Ahch-To in both Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens and Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi.
The rock in the middle of the waterfall looks a bit like a lost Darth Vader, ha ha ha. If it were the real Darth Vader, the 'machine would probably burst with sparks. Of course, it could also be King Kong, who is very thirsty, right?
For those who haven't seen the mysterious rock yet, there is a closer view in the first comment.

I saw this large window decal on a car in the grocery store parking lot. Leia is always cool, but I like her better in my processed blue than the original pink (or maybe the decal had been red and faded?)

Finaly here is an other picture I’ve made for Warner Bros and the lego star wars video game !
As you may know the idea was to insert funny details into the best moments of the movie The Force Awakens. We have received a detailed brief making references to the original movie and the great trailer made for the lego game. But it was up to us to find good ideas instead of copy cat the video game trailer.
When you are the best freakin pilot in the galaxy you can easily deal with a huge battle in insane moves and still take time to enjoy your tea ! Notice that Poe has a pretty good taste when it comes to mug ^^

Yay!!!!! My first Explore in years....and on Star Wars Day too. May the Force be with you all :)
Today is supposedly Star Wars day. The 4th of May / May the Fourth / May the Force be with you! Get it?
I can't believe it's six years since I posted this. In those days I was still mildly interested in the supercars that we deliver by air freight around the world. (who knew that we load these in the hold under where you sit on a long haul flight?) I used to photograph all the best ones, this one being a Lamborghini Aventador with its whacky "Star Wars" styling. I just had to put a Stormtrooper in it!
How things have changed since then. I'm now more interested in the sort of things in life that money can't buy, things like slate quarries and mountain goats! And it seems that in roaming around the greyness of Snowdonia I reckon have become more interesting than when I thought I looked cool posing in a supercar.

I'm typically not one for filters, however, being that this exposure was abstract bokeh already I decided that adding this heavy oil filter in post process added to the artistic aspect I was looking to get out of the image. I keep coming back to the bright highlight in the left upper third to see a celestial being waving back at me. The original concept was to represent the spectrum of colors that makes up our "white light". What do you see?

'second shot' at this area! The first time was so much fun! Enjoy]
*[We had such a good time at this new Hollywood Studio's exhibit back in Dec/2019 that we came back for the grand opening week of a new 2nd exhibit that they just completed. Unfortunately, many of the exhibits were shut down (including this new one) because it was too cold, the machinery does not operate properly if the outside temp is below 40 degrees, and we were at about 35 degrees! LOL For Florida that is very low! So, I just took all the new exterior shots.
They are pretty cool. Hope you like them. Thank you for looking]

*[The quite-amazing new STAR WARS exhibit opened just ten days
prior (to above) on December 5th, 2019. Since we were in Orlando
for a company holiday-party we checked it out. As expected, it was jammed in the daytime with a 90+ minute wait for the ride. We went back in the evening (with a 35 minute wait) and it was very cool! With everything all lit-up at night it was fantastic and we truly felt
as if we were on the Galaxy's Edge! A must for the Star Wars fan!]

*[Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is set within the Star Wars universe, at the Black Spire Outpost village on the remote frontier planet of Batuu. Attractions include Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, a dark ride that places guests in a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance; and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, a flying simulator attraction that allows guests to pilot the Millenium Falcon through a customized secret mission on behalf of Hondo Ohnaka and Chewbacca.
