May 11am hour. Even though this tree is not getting as much water this year, if you watch the skies, its blossoms are spectacular!

Perhaps because it's been on the dry side, there haven't been many good sunsets lately, but May 14 had a nice one. There is a Mallard family out for a cruise in the distance.
This is the Canary rose (Rosa Xanthina) in my garden taken at the beginning of May, as it's one of the first roses to bloom. It's only just beginning to drop its petals and it's put on an exceptionally good show this year.
Today it's raining outside, so I thought I'd cheer myself up before taking Marnie for a walk by uploading a sunshiny picture !
Thanks for having a look everyone, you're very appreciated indeed.
Happy new week !
A view along the impressive Cascades Lakes Scenic Byway. Mt. Bachelor was to the right.
Looking at the back side of Broken Top volcano rising above Fall Creek as the spring melt flows to Sparks Lake behind me, which was still covered in snow.
Thank you so much, Avocae and Christina, for using my photos for your new group covers. :D

I see a little silhouetto of a bird,
Scaramouch, Scaramouch....
I'm not sure what it is, but I really like this silhouetted photo of this red winged blackbird singing in the early morning.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

'No mow May' is a new idea this year, let your lawns and verges grow to protect wildlife. A good idea, but not at road junctions!
