The Norwegian Constitution Day is the National Day of Norway and is an official national holiday each year. Taken back in the beginning of May.
I worked at least 15 hours that day and still stayed out shooting until 2am (when my camera battery finally died haha). I then worked at 7am the following morning haha. With a display like that... It was so worth it!
37716 passes Newburgh with a diverted 4D47 1310 Inverness to Mossend Up Yard intermodal.
37716 had been sent to assist 68015 on the down service after the latter had failed. The departure of the return working was delayed by some 212 minutes but this had been reduced to 150 by the time the service reached Fife.

saddest month of the year, losing my mother and a dear friend, way too young!
der traurigste Monat des Jahres, verlor meine Mutter und ein sehr guter Freund, viel zu jung!
Der Mai neigt sich dem Ende zu.
Von einem Wonnemonat war nicht viel zu spüren, aber wenigstens die Natur freute sich über den Regen. Leider war es gleichzeitig recht kühl.
Aber die Mai-glöckchen haben es noch rechtzeitig geschafft im Mai zu blühen.

May is coming to an end
There wasn't much to be felt from a blissful month, but at least nature was happy about the rain. Unfortunately it was quite cool at the same time.
But the Lilly of the valley (May bells) managed to bloom in May in time.
Nice weekend to all of you!
The Hücker Moor is a nice little lake in the Herford area (Northwest Germany). Peat was cut here more than a century ago and created this lovely landscape. Today the place is a great location for wildlife and worth a trip for the local folks in all seasons.
As the month of May draws to a close, the South Downs hedge rows erupt in a sea of White Marguerite Daisies - Steyning, West Sussex 2020.
