A little detail shot from one of the big Australian cars of this era - I think this one is a VF Chrysler Valiant from around 1970.

Minolta Maxxum 3xi. I picked up this camera, complete with two lenses, a bunch of filters and three films for $20.00. Not a bad score!
This was only taken on Sunday but I love the vintage feel of the shot.

The weather is cold. I felt I needed a project. I bought this for about $10.00.When it arrived, the mirror was in the flipped up position. I put a battery in. The mirror came down but the shutter rarely worked. I cleaned the battery contacts with Flitz. Still didn't work. Today, after researching on the internet, I took a q-tip and dunked it in white vinegar and cleaned the battery contacts. The 700si is alive! I am amazed. I am going to try and rebuild the grip with sugru moldable glue. Can't wait to put a roll of film through this.

And then there were 3. The Maxxum 9000 on the far left is the first one I bought a few years back with a roll of HP-4 in it. Then I bought the one in the middle along with another one (not pictured) that I sold. Then I bought the third one (far right) complete with the MD-90 motor drive and the Program Back Super 90.

My dad sent me a couple of cameras, a Pentax Super Program and a Minolta Maxxum 4; both tested and working, but this Minolta appears to be overexposing, which was easy to correct in post, although I may just rate the film a stop faster in future rolls.
