looks disheveled due to the onset of molting.

After the long exhausting brood care she is now molting.

He must be in the moult as dishevelled as he looks.

In the world, the German company was well known and also feared for its rifles. For several decades, however, it was also a manufacturer of excellent fine mechanical measuring instruments.

The molt is not yet finished on the head and neck.

Not really much to say, a Brickarms mauser that i added a custom stock and magasine to.

The Mauser C96 is a semi-automatic pistol that was originally produced by German arms manufacturer Mauser from 1896 to 1937. Nickname "Broomhandle"

A subcompact assault rifle - literally. It uses 9x39mm cartridges, and uses flechettes too.. And I think it should be able to fire underwater.

Gigantic credits go to Semi, who had done the main body.

The Humboldt penguins are in the molt/moult. The blacks are done with it, the browns still need a while.

This is a heavily customized Mauser type rifle. It features a thumb-hole stock, a Mannlicher style fore-end, and the metal parts are made out of High quality German steel, and are machined to precise specifications. The barrel is cold forged, the internal magazine holds 5 rounds.

It's a pistol that uses 9x39mm cartridges flechettes. It can be used underwater, too... I think.

Snipped the scope off a black Mosin-Nagant and glued it to a Mauser. The rifles in the rack on the left are also painted Mausers.

These are my current Stormtroops, they one in the middle is supposed to be the officer with a mauser C96 that has a 20shot mag. Everyone except him have lowboots and puttees. The guy second from left has an M1918 helmet often wrongly called cavalryhelmet, the others have “normal” m1916 helmets with camo painted on them.

Between a car and a motorbike, you can have a MONOTRACE.

In 1924 the factory was located in Saint-Etienne (France), and built this vehicle from the 1923 German MAUSER Einspurauto. By 1926, the factory was sold to an engineer and he moved the production to Courbevoie, in Paris suburbs. The dealer shop was prestigioulsy located on the Champs-Elysées avenue.

At low speed, you kept the small wheels down. When the vehicle reached a certain speed, you could pull up the wheels with a lever located on the right side of the driver, and drive like a motorbike.

The chassis was sold without a body. That's why you can find different models, some very stylish.

The first owner of this one, drove every week the distance from Tarbes to Toulouse, around 145km one way, from 1927 to 1952.

Many thanks to Wolfgang Mauser for the help and inspiration on this location.

Based off of the Mauser c96.

Well, this was going to be my entry to the handgun contest, but I wasn't able to finish it - Windows ran an update while I was sleeping, closing the window on me. So this was the last image save I made of it.

I'm not sure if I'll still use this as my entry. On one hand, it is roughly "finished" in that there isn't anything critical missing, it is a complete weapon, I just wasn't finished with decorating. I could just submit this as is. On the other hand, there were so many other cool details I had planned to add before stopping that I won't be able to add.

Let me know what you think.

Comments and notes are welcome.

EDIT: I'm going to go ahead and run this in the contest. See my latest comment below for my thoughts on it.

Designed in 1898, the Mauser rifle was one of the most successful bolt-action rifle designs, serving in both World War I and World War II as the service rifle of the German Wermacht. The rifle came with a five-round magazine, and was reliable and easy to operate in the heat of battle. Most notably, the rifle served as a long range sniper variant. Though supplemented with more modern semi-automatic and full automatic rifles in mid-World War II, the K98 Mauser remains a symbol of German military might.

Czech made pistol based on Mauser C96. Compared to Mauser, this pistol has lower profile but is longer behind grip. Unlike in Mauser, its barrel and body are two different parts. It also has loaded chamber indicator on right side under rear sight. The rear sight is fixed.

However it is unbalanced due to heavier barrel and magazine in front of grip. Also it was larger than the other pistols of same caliber in that time. Only two prototypes were made, one semi-automatic (pictured) and a full automatic one with long magazine.

----Fictional weapon based on a real thing----

So, yeah. I finaly finished this. Been struggling with it for few hours (during few days). It is made 100% of shapes. Also, only two white shapes, those two holes (in grip and in hammer).

By the way, the title means ''Self-loading pistol of caliber 7.62 model 1938 semi-automatic'' in czech.

a more realistic version of the k98. added a scope, black paint to the appropriate parts, and painted the end of the scope to look like an actual scope.

=======================

The German World War I rifle, the Mauser Gewehr 98 (not to be confused with the smaller World War II Kar98k), had a very optimistic "tobogan" like rear sign graduated from 400 to 2000 meters. As if you had to hit someone two kilometers away!

The National Army Museum or Muzeum Armii Krajowej, in Krakow, shows the organization of an armed resistance during the Second World War against the German occupation of 1939, but also against the Soviets both from 1939 (allied with the Nazis ) as from 1944. Most interesting is the collection of infantry weapons of the time, especially the improvised ones.
