"La finalidad del montañero no es demostrar que puede llegar a la cima de una montaña, sino encontrarse en un lugar salvaje."

Diese schöne Bibliothek habt ihr sicher schon häufiger gesehen, aber vielleicht noch nicht aus dieser Perspektive, die mich an einen Wal erinnert, der in diesem Fall mit seinen "Barten" Wissen fischt ...
You may have seen this beautiful library more often, but maybe not yet from this perspective, which reminds me of a whale, which in this case fishes with its "baleen" knowledge ...
;-) ...

As some may know I made a captain rex custom at the end of last year that I haven't posted yet. The reason for that is that I came up with this project.
The idea is to make one figure from each movie, spin off and tv series in the tineline order.
So for the phantom menace I have made Darth Maul.
The head is sculpted over the stud to make a rounded head and eaxh horn is individually sanded and glued on to the head from some snack sticks.
The lightsaber is two lightsaber hilts with one of the ends cut of from each and then glued together to make his longer hilt.
Other than that the entire figure is painted and translated to minifigure proportions by me.
Hope you like it and this project of mine :)
Die RTC E483 003 bespannte einen Autozug vom Brenner Richtung Italien. Einige Stunden verweilte dieser Zug am Grenzbahnhof - am Nachmittag war er dann bei Mauls endlich unterwegs Richtung Süden.
Wading through shoulder-high bracken in the Summer isn’t any fun, and yesterday was no exception. Thankfully the effort proved worthwhile in the end however, with some decent ‘traffic’ to round the day off.
This was the second jet from a flight of four Strike Eagles, flown by 494th FS ‘Panthers’ in the afternoon. Both passes were excellent from all jets so in spite of the day being quiet again, it was good to end on a high with a few images to go through.

Okay, since there were many voices saying the hairpiece would be a perfect fit for Kenobi (I think so myself) here he is. Obviously on the high ground. :D
"Chaenomeles japonica, called the Japanese quince, Maule's quince, or "Japonica", is a species of flowering quince that is native to Japan.
It is a thorny deciduous shrub that is commonly cultivated. It is shorter than another commonly cultivated species C. speciosa, growing to only about 1 m in height. It is best known for its colorful spring flowers, which are red, white, pink or multicoloured."

Aussies like big things.
When driving the Australian outback and towing your caravan, it can be unnerving to have one of these come from behind and proceed to overtake at speeds in excess of 100 km/h.
But when stopped at a campsite for the night, the distinctive thunder of a road train passing at a distance in the night, is an essential element of the appeal of the outback.
A Maules Creek bound coal train, negotiates the S curve just east of the mainline junction for the Boggabri East and Maules Creek coal mines.
A location I was hoping to use a couple of months ago when the sun was lower, but couldn't due to a lack of trains. It was certainly different yesterday, with 15 train sets working between the Gunnedah Basin and ports in Newcastle, we were able to shoot 4 in just on 4 hours.
My entry for the second round of this years Star Wars MOC Olympics on ImperiumDerSteine.de.
Our task was to build a scene that highlights the Dark Side of the Force. I decided to build the scene before the Duel of the Fates on Naboo, when Darth Maul unveils himself to the Jedi.
This creation was quite a pain to build because of the heat outside, so I kept it rather simple an clean.
I wish my competitors good luck!
Note: The Gonk Droid is inspired by the one MarcelV. showed us in his Hoth vignette a few months ago.
