William Sherman, a mathematics graduate student and teaching assistant for the Department of Mathmatics, uses the subject on a daily basis. “Another problem comes along and I don't get overwhelmed. I take an analytical approach: take a step back, look at the problem, establish the situation and then decide what I can change to make things easier" he said. some time ago i got a bottle brush tree. the only decorations I could come up with were ones I made from paper-mathmatical origami octagons and these-paper stars borrowed from another culture, an older culture that does not buy buts makes what it needs.

The "FULL" bottle of water is a proportionatly scaled mathmatical equvalant of my sons weight for this kayak model's size scale. With my fingers pushing downward on the aft deck sheerline trying to force the top heavy bottle of water to the point of no return thereby creating a capsize situation was difficult to do considering the kayak model had a tendancy to try to slide sideways away from my finger rather than pass the point of no return!!!!!!.
As you can see from this photo the bottle angle is nearing 45 degrees which is a high heeling angle for a kayak.
glad to have my car working well again...and cleaned him out today found lots of things...but anyway, thought my car deserved some love today so i gave him a big hug.
If you're leaving, leave the cigarettes.
You've already got the lighter and the keys.
She packs her boxes.
He knows that she's serious
Not by the look in her face but the lack of rings.
Words lost their meanings long ago.
Right around the time when she let him know.
Oh oh oh oh ohoh oh oh
Have you ever heard a word?
Rather be lonely in love, than alive with you and dead.
Have you ever heard a word?
Hear me out this time (Hear me out this time).

There is algebra in gasoline.
Burning pictures, pages and photographs.
Fire can make a conscience clean.
(Strike the match, we'll see)
Rolls the window down, calls his name and pulls away.
Rethinks every word he's said in disarray.
Watched their house burn and in turn.
(What made it home, drive away)
Have you ever heard a word?
Rather be lonely in love than alive with you and dead.

Where does one start
To pick up pieces
Of a gasoline heart?
When all he has is driving away.
Ay ay ay ay ayay ay ay..

Rather be lonely in love than alive with you and dead.

My current fascination lays somwhere in the realm of fractal mathmatics and how fractals can seem to be manipulated (grown if you will) to represent the very patterns in life itself.
