While students begin to study subjects like engineering and tech science, they have to prepare for university math classes. And even though they don't understand a thing, they take their time to build paper planes of different size and structure. This one flew high up and got stuck in the wall. I wonder, if its still there?

Invert the triangle without moving more than three coins.
That was the problem before us early along in Algebra 2. Not really a math problem, is it? Nevertheless, I, rather uncharacteristically, volunteered to solve the puzzle in front of the whole class. I walked up to the front of the room, having not a clue how to actually solve it.
Before I even knew what happened, I solved it on the first try.
Those few seconds had a tremendous impact on my self-confidence, and thus my appreciation of math. By getting up and correctly solving that puzzle in front of everyone, I proved to myself that, hey, maybe I was as smart as my parents always told me, and lo and behold, look what can happen when I simply apply myself.
That class, more than any other, helped me turn things around in high school, and subsequently, college. With my newly discovered self confidence, I earned the nickname "Mr. Questions" due to my daily barrage of queries. To this day, I take notes in the same format they were presented in that class.
Step out of your comfort zone once in a while. It might completely change everything.
