Images of Stacy Kessler’s party celebrating her return to Bravo television’s MILLIONAIRE MATCHMAKER. The party took place at the One On One in New York’s trendy East Village. In addition to her television work, Ms. Kessler has recently completed filming the feature film MIDNIGHT GIRL, where she appears as a lead actor. She will also be appearing in the much awaited Broadway musical COLD AS ICE, produced by playwright and composer Frank D'Agostino.

This series of resin pendants were inspired by a sheet of reproductions of vintage matchbook cover art. I thought it would be really cute to pair the matchbooks with actual matches and embed them into resin
They are made from brass with Ice Resin and various found objects, brass components, bits of paper, match sticks, and glass beads. The resin is crystal clear, and very reflective, and amplifies the collage inside the brass pendant with amazing detail. Unfortunately, they are so reflective, they are a bit hard for me to photograph, but I love each one dearly!
This pendant was made from a raw brass frame pendant, which was heated with flame to give it interesting coloration. Some of the pendants in this series were also hand domed with a hammer and dapping block. The pendant was then carefully filled with the paper and found object bits and covered with a water-like layer of crystal clear resin.

The Jerusalem English Speaking Theatre (JEST) production of Thornton Wilder's classic comedy, The Matchmaker, directed by Erika Hughes, performed at the Kibbutz Ramat Rachel auditorium/theater, April 21 to 28, 2010. this guy is famous, apparently. we goggled him while in the cab. he's been on letterman and was pretty annoyed we didn't recognize him. he's a matchmaker.
This picture is taken on my uncle's wedding day. Grandpa has a cigarette dangling from his mouth as he is carrying food. I believe the lady on the furthest left is the match maker.
