Hier zien we de traxx met redelijk beladen Neuss-Shuttle vanuit Neuss door de bossen van Venlo rijden onderweg naar de Antwerpse havens.
*doordat er één plek direct achter de loc leeg was, is dit later in Photoshop aangepast zodat het gat tussen de loc en de tweede container opgevuld is.

We are decorating pumpkins for art club today. Yay!
I had a great stack of matches on my desk, was moving it to my table to shoot this and it got messed up several matches slid out of place, so I scooped up the strays and put them back in. This time it was not so pretty with red and green alternating, this time it was like a binary code of red = 1 and green = 0. All was fun in the build 😊

Amtrak heritage unit 164 leads a Hiawatha out of Chicago, IL. Other than the NPCU at the rear this was a fully matched train, a nice sight for 2025!
2016 was a good year to be trackside on the Northern Division of the Susquehanna, just about every train operated with matched sets of yellowjacket EMD's. The schedules were very helpful for chasing, even during the shorter days of the year. On February vacation, we had the good fortune of chasing 3 matched NYSW SD60's on a southbound CL-1, just about to cross NY county road 80 at Apulia Station, NY on a frigid February 18, 2016.

Every morning. The, let me think about it... third thing I do after getting up ;-) Brand new manual toothbrush (but I'm using the electric toothbrush once a day as well), and I'd bought some flashier looking toothpaste the other day just for the capture (well, I'll use that up now, too, of course), the one I usually use is simply white, kind of dull looking. Looked boring from the side, so I gave it a try "face" on, shot with in-camera focus stacking. Taken last night, so the background, which was actually white, looked yellow-ish because of the artificial light. So how come it's raspberry pink now? I processed this in Luminar and used the "Remove Colour Cast" filter which gave me this pink-ish backdrop, while actually making toothbrush and -paste look more natural. Used the same filter in Color Efex afterwards which made the colours still more natural looking, a little softer overall. Nice. Some finishing tweaks in ON1 Effects. Basically that's it - ready for another MM craze :-)

Jeden Morgen. Nicht das Erste, aber das Dritte (so etwa), das ich nach dem Aufstehen mache. Eine nigelnagelneue Zahnbürste, etwas anderes würde ich mich auch gar nicht trauen, Euch hier zu präsentieren ;-) Ich habe extra auch etwas buntere Zahnpasta gekauft, meine reguläre ist einfach weiß und sieht ein bisschen langweilig aus. Sah das Motiv von der Seite fotografiert auch aus, daher der Versuch von vorn. Mit der Kamera-internen Fokus-Stacking-Funktion aufgenommen, bei Kunstlicht gestern Abend, was für einen leider gelbstichigen Hintergrund sorgte. Von Gelb zu Himbeerpink - wie geht das? Ich habe in Luminar den "Farbstich-entfernen"-Filter verwendet, der mir daraus dieses Pink gemacht hat; "Remove Color Cast" in Color Efex hat dann für noch etwas natürlichere Farben gesorgt. Zum Abschluss noch etwas ON1 Effects und fertig ist ein weiteres Foto für den
Macro-Monday-Wahnsinn. (Mon-)täglich grüßt das Murmeltier, sozusagen. Ob die possierlichen Tierchen sich auch die Zähne nach dem Aufstehen putzen?

St Andrew's Cathedral and Swissotel Stamford, a perfect marriage. I did spent some time finding the right spot, there was constantly a tree or a pole standing in my way. Too close, too much perspective, too far, too many trees. I just wanted those 2 iconic buildings in my frame.
