128) Grey Throated Minivet
Grey-throated Minivet, Pericrocotus montanus, Burung Matahari Gunung
This species prefers forest edges especially at highlands such as Fraser Hill and Awana. It feeds on insects, foraging in the canopy of the forest, picking prey from the terminal foliage, and also making short flights to capture flying termites and other insects. The Gray-throated Minivet is resident year-round in Malaysia. The male and female together build a small cup nest of twigs, roots and grass stems, placed high on a branch or in the fork of a tree in the forest.

Scarlet minivet, Pericrocotus speciosus, Burung Matahari
Found in tropical southern Asia from the Indian subcontinent east to southern China, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Usually moves in small troop with a sound of pleasant whistling. This minivet catches insects in trees by flycatching or while perched. It flushes insects out of foliage by beating its wings hard. This bird nests high up in the treetops.
Burung Matahari lazimnya bergerak dalam kumpulan kecil mencari makan tinggi di puncak daun pokok. Ia memburu serangga di celah celah daun. Jantannya berwarna merah, yang biasanya diikuti oleh beberapa ekor betina berwarna kuning hitam.

matahari tak pernah berhenti menyinari bumi. hanya saja terkadang dia tak bisa menembus tebalnya awan yang menyelimuti langit. saya tak boleh terus menunggu, terkadang saya harus menjemput sinar itu. menembus kabut awan dan berdiri lebih tinggi darinya. sehingga hanya tinggal matahari, saya, awan, dan Yang Maha Tinggi.

Gerahana Matahari di rakam di Bandar Bukit Pucnong, Selangor dari Jam 6.13 pm - 6.17 pm. Lepas tu tidak kelihatan kerana Awan mendong.
di UMS. Kelihatan Bukit Lawa Mandau yang bersambung dengan Bukit Karatong dan Kokol. Sebalik bukit ni juga kelihatan Gunung Kinabalu di belakang sana.
Ketika matahari terbit, hari baru ikut terbit, malaikat-malaikat turun bersebaran, daun-daun gugur ke tanah yang lembab.
Di sini aku menikmatinya, di atas genangan laut Jawa, antara birunya langit, putihnya awan, dan semburat matahari yang terselip di pinggiran awan.
Saat itu pelabuhan Merak sedang membuka paginya dengan kunjungan kapal-kapal dari Bakauheni. Membawa cerita-cerita baru dari hijaunya pepohonan Melayu, menuju hijaunya dedaunan padi yang memanjang di ladang-ladang Jawa.
