Just to let everyone know, Titan is pretty sick. He's been in the Vet and Emergency Hospital for a couple of days. They "think" he has Leptospirosis. This is a contagious disease affecting both animals and humans and spread by infection with a bacterial pathogen called Leptospira. It can result in chronic liver and kidney disease and fatality in dogs. The other possibility is Lyme disease, a tick-borne disease. He also has a Thyroid problem.
So, I have been going back and forth to the Vet(s) daily now......and it's been tough. Titan is only 4, so I will do everything I can to get him better.
Hopefully, in a few days, I will show normal, ball-catching, teeth-baring, happy pictures of our orange beastie.

a friends rescue from a hording situation, his sister is in the bathroom & he is protecting her... she is too scared to come out to see the stranger that intruded her safe zone. Bear came out and sniffed me when I sat on the floor with my side/back to him. Any movement made him scurry back into the bathroom. he is pretty good at following his new dad. I hope in time they will come out of their shell.
Too bad the lighting was not better... there was only a night light in the hall and the bathroom light so I had to lighten it quite a bit.
We ordered an XL sleek big barker for our 4 year old English Mastiff, as you can see our 7 year old pit bull mix decided to find some room for herself as well. We also have a 10 month old Alaskan malamute, so we will be ordering a giant bed for the living room and moving the XL into our bedroom. Thank you big barker for the great customer service and made in the USA product!

Sehr beeindruckender 100 Kg Rüde. Als ich diesen Mastiff Rüden sah, bekam ich einen trockenen Hals. Die Zähne von diesem Rüden konnten nicht überzeugen.
Die Zähne von einem reinrassigen Pitbull Terrier können einem allerdings einen Schauer über den Rücken jagen. Das sind die reinsten Knochenknacker. Die "reinrassigen Pitbll Terrier" (eingetragen in den USA) findet man auf keiner Hundeausstellung.
Mastiff in the driver's seat of a car, Friday, in fact. God, what an ugly dog, I still kinda wanna wrestle it, though. I wish I had made a few more images because this didn't turn out nearly as hilarious as it was at the time, but I was sitting at a table outside, drinking beer and eating pizza at Double Mountain brewery when this happened, and well, I have my priorities.
This is Rory, a french mastiff that my brother and family just brought home tonight. The breeder lived about a mile away from me so they stopped in on their way home. Needless to say, Lucy was very excited to meet her new cousin!
Phew this is a big piece of kit... about the same size as the Challenger 2 without gun (including side armour)

Fate 20 Nov 1939 was engaged in the recovery of a mine, which had broken loose from a field laid on the night of 18 Nov by German DDs Wilhelm Heidkamp, Hermann Künne and Bernd von Arnim. In the process of hauling it aboard, the mine detonated, destroying the trawler. The mine they were attempting to retrieve was one of the new magnetic mines which threatened to close the Thames to shipping

My Gus on his Big Barker bed....Best money I have ever spent. He likes to curl up or stretch out. I have to get in there every morning with him...to ease him into waking up...he never wants to get out!!! I think he thinks it's the best money I ever spent too!!! 90 lb Bull Mastiff mix . A Leyland Mastiff tractor unit only thing missing is the rear axle. Not sure how the V8 perkins engine is but this vehicle would not take much to restore if you had a replacement rear axle.
"I ordered the Big Barker bed for my older Neapolitan Mastiff, Luna, who had orthopedic problems. The bed arrived yesterday, but unfortunately before Luna had the opportunity to try it out, she unexpectedly died the same day. I considered returning it, but instead put it on the floor for our younger Neapolitan Mastiff, Draco. He seems to love the new bed, and maybe it will prevent future problems for him. The bed appears to be very comfortable, and hopefully Draco will have many years to enjoy it."
