This is Ralph's final photo for the 52 weeks group for 2010.
We took the challenge which was turning over the reigns. Ralph decided that he wanted to interview the perspective dogs that wanted to take his place.
He really thought long and hard about all of the candidates and in the end decided that only he could take his own place.
Since it is the last photo of the year I will post the other runners up in the comments.
I'm actually happy that Ralph decided to continue the 52 weeks group with me. We have worked hard together all year long and we have more work to do. Ralph is going to be the best dog he can be, whether he wants to or not! ;-P
This represents an early production version of the upgraded vehicle. Later Mastiffs have slat armour all the way around the front of the vehicle, which offers more protection--but is harder to model and would result in a duller-looking slat-armour box...

Saturday afternoon's job for the day was to recover this Leyland Mastiff tractor unit with a Perkins V8 in it.
This was nice and early at 8.30am after scraping frost off the screen and being the first up here and plenty of camera men but no trucks yet,

a group at the public market was showing of this litter of 12 mastiff puppies - about 4 months old, 11 female, 1 male in the litter.
Its Nearly Done, with Exhausts re-fitted and new Body sides, just welding some Tool box mountings here..
