LNER 9 car Azuma Class 801/2 EMU 801 222 is seen at Edinburgh Waverley’s Platform 6 forming the 1300hrs departure to London King’s Cross. The station’s overall roof dates from the NBR’s extensive reconstruction of the station in the 1890s, but it was wholly reglazed a few years ago. The picture was taken on day 130 of the Coronavirus lockdown. Concept masterplans for the station’s future were published on 04 August 2020.
