We discovered this master joiner crafting innovative window frames in his workshop at the Madraseh-ye Khan in Shiraz, Fars Province, Iran. The theological college was founded in 1615.

One of four images--On a trip to Maine & Massachusetts in March, 2018, I acquired 4 new salt cellars for my collection. They are hard to resist, particularly when I have friends who take me to antique shops! This is a master salt, measuring approximately 3 inches wide. A handle is unusual. I found this salt at Country Mischief in Templeton, Massachusetts.
