A questionable group has posted a shocking video and has made demands!
Early today a video was uploaded to the groups homepage showing Master Chief (from the mega hit Halo video game) suspended above a pot of melted Halo weaponry. The group (which identified themselves as MWF) has made demands that all Halo players stop playing the "steaming pile of $#!*" and take up the "chosen game, Modern Warfare 2." Authorities have assured us that they "do not deal with terrorists" and will have the situation under control soon.
Now over to Chuck with the weather.

Hey guys, I just noticed last night that I've been on Flickr for a year now! I technically joined sometime in April, but my first upload was in May. Anyways, I want to thank all of you for your ongoing support. It really means a lot! I've also met a lot of really cool people on here! :)

My version is built at an angle though.

This is from a little web comic I made. In this scene, Master Chief begins to explore avenues of expression other than violence. :|
Just playing around with an idea, but couldn't get any where near the shot I wanted. Didn't just want to waste the morning so tried to make something interesting from a shot.
I've also just set up a facebook page with some images on, if I get a few likes and people are interested I might start put up set-up shots etc on there.

My Halo 4 Chief and Cortana are almost done, so I took a picture to mimic the teaser trailer for HALO 4. I have 2 cats, so that's where the hairs are from >:I

- SSAO* (64 samples, 450 radius - for wide AO coverage)
- SSAO* (64 samples, 50 radius - for detailed contact AO)
- FXAA (Quality 9, Subpix 0.4, EdgeThreshold 0.01, EdgeThresholdMin 0.01) - Produces very clean image, sharpening in post.

This one came to me last night whilst I was faffing about but couldn't be bothered setting it up.
Cardboard with a disk cut out then a slightly larger disk affixed so the light bleeds through. Backlit the pinpricks with various torches, gelled and bare and copious amounts of vape for drama.
Shot during a single long exposure then Into LR for a bit of a tinker and job done.
No helmet tomorrow I promise.

I'm getting really tired of all the Halo and Masterchief stuff. People, it is a game! Granted is somewhat fun but it is in no way a god, so don't worship it. I'm not trying to be offensive to Bungie because they did a fine job with the game but seriously, some of the stuff online is getting out of hand.
I finally after 5 years have bowed to youtuber pressure to build a Halo MOC.

A Halo 4 UNSC Marine, Commander Thomas Lasky, the Master Chief, and Captain Andrew Del Rio! I might change them slightly after the game is released.
Just remember, someone's always got it worse. Master Chief, well, he almost always has it worse. Poor bastard.
Strobist: 430EXII in front of MC with a snoot made from a green page of a magazine. An LP120 behind the Chief with a deep red gel on it.
Everything (except the type) was in camera. I just took a bunch of party poppers and tried to fire them right when the flashes triggered. 4 out of 5 times I got it close enough to get some debris. The flashes were both on very low power so they really froze the debris. Comped it all together in Photoshop, gave it some Lightroom love, and ka-blammo! I think my favorite bit is the little projectile whizzing past his right arm.
These guy will be at WWB - 1 MasterChief, 1 Night Stalker, and 2 Jungle Commando Spartans :)
They are all equipped with a "glowing" hand-painted energy sword and a BrickArms prototype XSR.

High Speed Interceptor, drag flaps open and close for improved handling. Features twin rocket pods, two gattling guns, and a prototype high powered energy "Gauss" cannon, which became popularized later during the Human-Covenant war. While not popular for military use due to high production costs, this fighter was a favorite for high budget rebel groups.

I also used my new lightbox, which I'm still learning to use obviously :) Do you guys like these kind of pics or should I change up the background from time to time? Anyways, this build was very brittle (Front to back connection), so I'll experiment next time.

Oh, and the ONI Captain Veronica Dare from ODST. I let her show off the XM7s because that head is just too perfect.
So... I guess I've started to make Halo stuff.
