Day eight. Here's a pretty good view of what the closet is looking like right now. It's a bit narrower than before, but it's longer now. I think the trade off between the narrower closet and larger bathroom is well worth it.

Due to the sheetrock getting wet, I had to cut it all away and treat the inside of the wall (floor plate and studs) for mold prior to replacing with new sheetrock and floor trim.
