In a rare moment of peace and calm, Ororo Munroe notices something less tranquil on the ground.
This Storm's a tough one for me. I was looking more forward to her than I am Jean Grey. And she was about to be one of my favorite figures of all time - she's already one of my favorite characters - then I tilted her back and saw the huge hole between her abdomen and chest. That blasted her out of top ten contention and ended up making her my biggest disappointment of the year. Yet, I still dig her. I'm clearly a complicated individual.

I've wanted to do a pic like this for forever. I'm not insanely familiar with Blink, and her figure's fairly standard, but making her powers look like they're working is a whole lotta fun.

I did some updates on the MARVEL customs...
cap : change the boots and arms (the boots were superman's)
Thor : paint some silver on hammer and change the ape with superman because is darker and I think is better on Thor so the superman got no boots and a light red cape now :)
hulk : paint the black on his paints
mandarin : change hair piece

Arachne: Quite a bit has changed since I last showed her off. I also got her a FirestarToys head
Beta Ray Bill: Sure he is not perfect, but I am happy with how he turned out. Bill's head is so hard to make, it cant be 100% accurate unless an official one comes out or someone molds it.
Leader: Finally put this concepts together. The band aids through me off but I dont feel like erasing printing. I guess I could have edited it...oh well
Carol Danvers of Captain Marvel fame has had a long history in the Marvel Universe. She began as a supporting character in the first Captain Marvel series in the kate 1960's and early 1970's but she eventually gained super powers and became Ms. Marvel! She eventually became a card carrying member of the Avengers. From there she lost her powers and was stricken with amnesia only to become an ally and supporting character in the X-Men comics! While helping the X-Men battle an alien race, The Brood, she was embedded with the power of a star and became Binary, Those powers were eventually diminished leaving her to rejoin the Avengers as Warbird! Now she's back as the new Captain Marvel! Of course none of that is in the MCU version of character! &CC Toys released their version of the character called Lady M
I don't think I've ever felt such an even mixture of disappointment and happiness when I discovered last night that Onlinesailin would be shortly releasing a gorgeous Gladiator fig. All those parts purchases for nothing!
Anyway, here's five of the most powerful non-cosmic Marvel characters in Lego form. I also haven't seen any pictures of OLS's classic Namor on Flickr yet, so I figured I would throw one up so people could see what it looks like in person.
I really want Lego to make an official Earth-13034 Hyperion fig. He's my favorite iteration of Hyperion over the years, and by far the most wonderfully differentiated Superman analogue in the Marvel universe.
