I Am The X-Man!

I'm the best there is at what I do, but what I do best isn't very nice.

Thanks for an amazing 11 years, shellhead.

Friday, Sept. 5, is National Cheese Pizza Day, not to be confused with National Pizza Day, which occurred back on Super Bowl Sunday in February. Coming up, there's also National Pepperoni Day on Sept. 20 and National Sausage Pizza Day on Oct. 11.

I just found this cool Avengers Photoshop job that somebody did on Facebook! Maybe if the MCU ever gets rebooted, we'll have the original Avengers Line-up now that people know who Ant-Man and the Wasp are.

Like I said, I really like the new variety of silver and gold parts I have, so I put them to good use once again: to make four MCU Iron Man suits. (Another Marvel figbarf though? Strange times.)

^^Yup, that quote is directly to LEGO, I was never going to keep that junk that was included in the original set on my back!

A closer look at 'Yellowjacket's Mechanical Harness'

www.flickr.com/photos/115928480@N03/18947604282

Yellowjacket's (Darren Cross) mechanical harness that LEGO originaly included in the set is great for kids with the ability to move them and to shoot the studs, for collectors and perfectionist like me I would have recommended that they should have used ‘Leg W Ø3.2 Shaft 1/2 M’ in Black with yellow printing on it.

I attempted many different designs for Yellowjacket's mechanical harness and it was quite challenging to get it movie accurate and small as possible unlike LEGO's attempt where the harness itself was really bulky and it’s annoying that they used a tan piece which does not fit will with the contemporary design of the figure.

Parts list to build 'Yellowjacket's Mechanical Harness'

1x 6020192 Mini Fig. Back Plate W. Knob

1x 473326 Brick 1X1 W. 4 Knobs

2x 6076566 Leg W Ø3.2 Shaft 1/2 M

1x 6030718 Plate 1X1 W. Up Right Holder

1x 3003126 Handle W. 3.18 Stick

2x 6015891 Holder Ø3.2 W/Tube Ø3.2 Hole

2x 4504476 Horn W. Shaft ظ 3.2

I done something new today and took off the head and made the helmet to be angled that way which is held in with gravity to make it look more realistic :)

If it’s not about Ninjago, dank stuff, overreactions, Flickr Fighters, cheese, stories and etc

Endgame tomorrow. Expect a review drop lads

While the 2014 Guardians of the Galaxy LEGO sets were fantastic, the weakest one by far would be the 76019 Starblaster Showdown, partially due to its inaccurate rendition of the Nova Starblaster itself.

To give the ship the angular build that it deserves, I completely removed the original curvature-based cockpit and replaced it with one made out of SNOT pieces and the new X-Wing canopy in trans-grey, with enough space for a certain John C. Reilly character to fit inside.

Currently, I'm keeping the original wings and thrusters, but I may return to improve upon those aspects later, so any suggestions/comments would be appreciated.

I T'Challa's limbs and put together a purist minifig of Martin Freeman's character: Everett K. Ross

The color of Ross' hairpiece is perfect, but the shape doesn't look that great, so I may try out something else.

This is done exactly like the other Iron Man figures. this time I replaced the lamp holder with with a clip holder to rotate his gun.

'LEGO Avengers: Age Of Ultron - Hulk Vs. Hulkbuster' Album: www.flickr.com/photos/115928480@N03/sets/72157652147687322/

As some of you may know I've been planning a Hulkbuster MOC to be released on April 23rd (UK release date of Avengers: Age of Ultron.) Today my final parts order came from LEGO Bricks & Pieces and it's actually built and finished, this is my first teaser for the MOC; only a few days left now...

Fun Fact: If you squint you can see the feet :)

He may be burdened with a glorious purpose, but that doesnt stop him from invading earth and commanding those earthlings to bow down before him.

So now everyone can watch 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron' together and be buddies!

I really like the way the metallic on the torso stands out when the rest of the torso is very dark.

Captain America by Hot Toys

As you all know the Hulk bigfig is quite hard to photograph and make it look powerful with a very limited joints and movement. In this shot I've tilted the camera so it's parallel to Hulk's feet to make him seem much larger than Gandalf.

Sorry for the photo being fuzzy; I took the picture elsewhere, normally I use my roof light as a primary light source.

This is also done using the similar technique I used for my Iron Man Mk43 photograph:

It's my birthday too, yeah!

According to Captain America's biography on ComicVine; The comic version of Steve Rogers was born on July 4th, 1920. He was given the Super-Serum in March 1941 (aged 20). This is flatly contradicted by the film version which states that he was born on July 4th, 1918 and turned into a superhero aged 21.

During one of his missions Cap runs into a very strange individual: a pirate by the name of Captain Hook.

Steve has more pressing matters to deal with but Hook keeps standing before him.

“I saw it! You helped the cursed crocodile crossing the road!” He yells.

“What?” Comes the surprised reply of Steve.

“The cursed crocodile! The one that wants to eat the rest of me!” Says Hook showing his hand as he continues with his deranged accusations. As you may have noticed his current mental state is not very good.

“I demand satisfaction, man in a silly costume!” Hooks declares.

“Beside- he continues- what is that rounded thing you carry? A shield or a Frisbee? Ha Ha!”

“As a matter of fact, it’s both” Cap replies and he throws his shield at the evil pirate before he can draw his pistol.

The impact knocks him out for good taking care of his annoying presence

By the time Hook comes round, Steve’s mission will be complete.

It’s time for Cap to get back to the important matters.

This is my second photo in the Superheroes vs Disney Villains series I started with Aquaman vs Ursula photo ( www.flickr.com/photos/133750589@N08/26950944555/in/photos... )

The plan is to make a photo for each villain from the Disney series Minifigures where one them fight against a Dc or Marvel Superhero :)

I hope you like this photo :)
