It looks like im seeing Marriott Hotel through a telescope... but from the terrace of Oasis Resort, the refreshing view of Marriott's beach front (the host of some of the coolest parties in Doha) is visible.

Mai Kao Beach, Phuket.
They really know how to do hotels in Thailand. It's an amazing first view when you arrive at the Marriott Vacation Club Resort, hot off the plane. The beach at Mai Kao is near deserted and pristine. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for R&R in SE Asia.

Triangles of strength from Marriott and Moulton. I rode over several bridges today, this was probably the oldest. The distinctive A frame bridges built by engineer Marriott for the M&GN railway are as functional as they are elegant, using strong simple triangles for a rigid frame. The brilliant engineer Alex Moulton also drew on the strength of triangles to create the rigid but very light Moulton TSR cycle frame. The lightest TSR bike, the TSR2, has a simple backpedal gear and brake hub, so needs no cables or controls to the (separable) rear half of the bike. With very effective front and rear suspension it is very quick and smooth, and the belt drive on this model makes it virtually silent. I went for a ten mile ride today to try and rebuild stamina lost during lockdown torpor. This bike makes it a bit easier! Pic © JAS 2022

Photography is still a hobby I'm very passionate about. Recently, I've had the opportunity for photos to be used as wall art and to do some freelance work. A total of 11 photos can be seen in the Marriott on Pelham Road in Greenville, SC. I'm thankful for the opportunities thus far and excited to see what new ones there will be.
