Map Rally Team at the Southern Ohio Forest Rally 2021.

A Paint Map from the August 5-7 Seafair weekend of 2022. On the map notes Seahawks/Reign/Mariners/Storm games, construction, and various Seafair events.

While processing the previous picture, I tried playing around with the saturation and white balance and ended up with this. I'm not much into image manipulation (mostly because I do not have the patience for it), I think this is a nice effect.

Globe Reflections

 

This was a runner up for the theme of map. As you can see it's a different globe than the first one. I also used my macro for this picture. I've started playing around with that some.

 

I like the reflections on the crystal globe in this picture.

[had to bust out the point & shoot in an attempt to capture how utterly unreal this show experience was-- hundreds of kids packed into a 100-degree room and totally wilding out, some literally climbing in the rafters like orangutans. a SXSW high point for sure.]

The Map is unusual in that its two annual broods look very different. The summer brood are black with white markings, this is the spring brood ! (Sorry for the bad photo, I had never seen or heard of such a butterfly before)
