The state more commonly known as Tarkhazia is a former soviet state along the Black Sea and Caucasus Mountains. The Tarkhaz and Mazir are Circassian(Caucasian) peoples with a long and proud history as warriors and horsemen. Tarkhaz and Mazir regiments fought with distinction in Russian service throughout several wars. Tarkhazia and Mazir only recently gained independence in 1991 with the collapse of the USSR. Currently, The state is dominated by a 90% majority of Tarkhaz people, ruling over a minority 8% Mazir in the east. Following the Chechen Wars, ethnic and religious unrest has become common, as the Tarkhaz are majority christian, and Mazir majority muslim, further causing tension. The Tarkhazian army has occupied much of Mazir land following several destructive insurgent wars. Terror attacks, flare-ups, and general unrest are common throughout much of the east and southeast.

Marshall Springs is where I start. The Hill of Death is located just by the 1 in the circle on the left side of the map. Those little lines indicate a steep section in the trail. They don't lie.

This Western United States map was on the back side of the Louisiana Map.
The USGS GNIS placename database was used to make this map. It shows place names with the words "Burro", "Grizzly", "Cougar", and "Panther" in them. This was a somewhat whimsical attempt to find geographic patterns. The results are a little random but not too surprising.
