I had fun shooting this Japanes maple today at the county park. There were a couple photographers taking photos for people, using this tree as the background. This is exactly how red it looks today.
The Japanese maple by my house has lost most of its color and leaves, but Mother Nature gave it new little jewels to wear for the day...

I won't have time to reply to everyone faving and commenting on this, since we will be leaving on a 3 week trip next week.
I will try to catch up with all of you once we are back.
Shades of maple colour and some fallen leaves while a little fir tree stays green in the park's Fairy Glen.
This is the last of my Autumn colored leaves series. My focus was on Japanese Maple (Momiji) leaves with light play in the image. Basically, I was looking for back lit situations, clean backgrounds, and bokeh. I chose the title Maple Burst for this image because of the bokeh balls on the left side of the frame. Hope you enjoyed the series!
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day~!

This is another grouping of the maple keys which caught my eye and that I gave an edit with cooler tones.
