Trying hard to get into the "Spirit of Winter" now that January is here! But wind chills WAY below zero, snow, rain, freezing rain and strong winds have dampened my mood!
I'll try to "Man-Up" and embrace the season, but pouting like a five year is kind of fun! :(

So this is the end, today was the last exam for my major at HEC (graduate business school). We were going to take the traditional end-of-year picture, when I thought "hey, let's spice it up!" :)
So here it is, I present to you the Majeure Ć©conomie HEC 2007.
This is a stereographic projection of an equirectangular panorama, shot hand-held and stitched from 60 pictures. .... yes, shot hand-held, and yet I'm on the picture! :D
...my FoB speech (riddled with paternal tears), our invitation and my buttonhole. All the buttonholes sported a scrabble tile bearing the initial of the wearer.
The irony of R1 wasn't lost on me...since I'm now motorbikeless :(
Oh well... still I ever ended up in A and E missing a limb or two and drooling ...:D

My second very different #whiteoutportrait of extraordinarily talented and fascinating circus performer Ruby Gaskell. They are currently touring with the brilliant NofitState Circus so catch the show where you can.
Ruby is also a Drag King - winner of ManUp! 2021 - performing their physical comedy acts around London as Frank!
Years ago Ruby was on the adult aerial programme at National Centre for Circus Arts with me and friends.
This was achieved with:
4 medium sized beauty dishes - 1 above camera and 1 oblique each side.
1 positioned behind the sitter to bleach out sections of the backdrop
Wireless trigger on camera.
Lighting, Einstein in a 64" Soft Silver PL with diffusion screen at 9 o'clock and pointed more towards the camera than subject, and a AB 800 in a 32x48 soft box at 3 o'clock, also pointed more at the camera than subject.
Post in LR 5 and Color Efex Pro 2, and B&W conversion in SIlver Efex Pro 2.
