This firework-creation reminded me of a cross between sea urchin and a sea anemone :). Again, it was the result of purposefully adjusting the manual focus during a long exposure of the explosion. Fun stuff!

I love my morning tea, and what better place to take it than in the elegant dining room at Le Chateau Montebello. The waiting staff there helped me set up this shot where I used the wonderful window light flooding through the great windows to infuse the fine dining setup with light. There is a Fairmont signature drink for the Chateau Montebello - The Montebello Apple Spice - so I used that to stage this shot. I used the little Voigtländer Ultron 40mm f/2 lens for this shot, and it produced a beautiful result. Enjoy a touch of morning elegance!
