Growing up on 35mm film and wet darkroom work when shooting Tri-X, the world of digital point-and-shoot seems to simplify the steps learned along ago: react to a potential photo, consider position for composition before putting camera to eye to commit to a particular framing, focus, and combinations of aperture vs. shutter speed. After many months using auto-focus with mostly happy results, now I am getting used to manually focusing and sometimes taking into account aperture to produce a desired depth of field.

Another set of pictures I found in a folder, and I have no idea why they are there - I've long forgotten, and there's no common theme or time. Some of these images are 20 years old.
I have little idea of which camera or lens, but I would say they are all taken with a classic manual focus lens on a digital camera of some sort.
Just finished staining the decking and thought it was time for a cuppa and some camera fun, yet again, the Drone Fly is back, and while getting the shots of it, it actually landed on the lens hood.
And a special thank you to the er....one of the cats for holding still. This is with a 1.4 extender at 560mm handheld at about 20 feet.
