Torn? Distressed? Shredded? These lads wear their wounds with pride. From subtle knee grazes to full frontal fabric carnage, this album salutes the men who stride the streets in jeans that have very much seen things. Born from rebellion — think punk, grunge, and rock ‘n’ roll defiance — ripped denim has become the badge of the carefree, the stylishly rugged, and the artfully undone.
Whether accidental or artisanal, each tear has a tale. I’ve offered patchwork therapy and travelling needlework services, but so far, no takers. Apparently, air-conditioned knees are the height of street cred.

Déchiré ? Délavé ? Effiloché ? Ces messieurs portent leurs cicatrices avec panache. Du simple trou au massacre textile complet, cet album rend hommage aux hommes qui arpentent les rues en jeans marqués par la vie. Hérités de la rébellion punk, grunge et rock, ces jeans abîmés sont devenus l’emblème du style décontracté et viril.
Accident ou création stylisée ? Chaque accroc a son histoire. J’ai proposé mes services de raccommodage ambulant — aiguille, fil et genouillère en option — mais personne ne veut recoudre le passé. Paraît que les courants d’air aux mollets, c’est le summum du cool.
