A view from our boat, looking North towards our destination at the Dusy Meadow campground. This is Courtright Reservoir, in Eastern Fresno County, California. The elevation of the water you see, is listed as 8,170 feet. The domes you see, are left over from the glacier age.The famous Dusy-Ershim 4WD trail cuts across the picture from left to right, among the trees.
This area is, of course, under snow in the winter. I have played in my "back yard", since 1984.
This is the view you get, when you arrive to Courtright. The elevation of the water is about 8,123 feet. The top of the domes are at about 9,500 feet in elevation.
I climbed just about to the top of the 2nd dome from the right. What a view of the lake.
Courtright Reservoir is in Eastern Fresno County, California.
My brother had his stag do the other week out in Lymington. I've still no idea where that is. It was dark. The highlight was the paintball. Three weeks later I'm still bruised. Perhaps I should have "died" when I was shot - I just wanted to get my money's worth. In all it was fun; lots of jokes were made about PJ & Duncan and Spaced. "It's not a bedsit, it's a flat !" etc

walking in the creek - we hit this tunnel.. Aadon's journey through took guts.. and Mama on one side - Papa on the other. I love this capture!

I had to take a rest break as I climbed this dome. I still had a ways to go, to get to the top. It's funny how these domes look like the terrain is just smooth, from far away.
