OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA portrait of man danny by feej13 black and white natural light snap shots of my loved ones family
These bright, orange beauties are now ready to pick from my garden. Does anyone see the man's face in the leaf at the very top, wearing a hat?

My first day in my 40s and I feel fricking GREAT. I'm a grown adult man.
I've actually been really happy all day. I have been looking forward to this for so long.
All I did was work. Had a very productive and exciting day at work. And I thought at one point - isn't THIS just the best possible birthday for a 40 year old man? A really great day at work?
YAY!
Full steam ahead!

New York, New York
40 years old
I don't quite know how to describe what this woman is wearing on her head, but if you zoom in and look closely, you'll see that it includes a number of black and white cut outs of a photograph of a man's face.
Of course, it's possible that the man's photo is only of personal significance, but assuming it's someone who's well known, can anyone tell me who he is?
months ago I posted here only a detail of this painting and forgot to post the whole work later.
here it is !!
hope you enjoy it.

This image is of my most patient and gentle husband, David, who indulges me in most things including allowing me to take his picture at 4 in the morning, by the light of his iPod.
"Sheree," he said, in his usual are-you-nuts drawl. "It's 4 in the morning."
"I know," I said. "But it'll be fun." He groaned. "I'll just run down and get the camera. Won't take a minute."
This was a tough one because autofocus was out of the question. I had to manually focus with the bedside lamp on, twist around turn off the lamp, while holding the focus, and then shoot on a reasonably slow shutter speed. I lost a few shots to camera shake.
I tried a variety of ISO settings, and found a lower one suited the image best, further increasing the camera shake factor.
But David hung in there with only a few elongated sighs, and within about 20 minutes, I got this shot. He rolled over and went back to sleep.
David is an intense music fan, who recently lost his beloved iPod. Besides a huge memory, his brand spanking new iPod offers great lighting. Hey, a new photography tool for Sheree.
Blessings,
Sheree

I found this face carved into a log while doing a beach clean-up in Lincoln Park, West Seattle, Washington.
Know Thy Self
They said a good way of gaining self-knowledge
was to talk to yourself while looking in a mirror,
but without my glasses on I couldn’t see too well
and I wound up thinking I was someone else.
Then I met someone, who by the same process,
had convinced themselves they were me
and seeing as I didn’t have my glasses on,
who the hell was I to argue?

Street photography - portrait of a man who appeared to be completely lost in his emotions.
Death of the Wolf
After rutting with his woman Kin Wolf
Sensed warriors sneaking craftily.
Hare-spry he sprang from the bed,
gripping the fire-woven blade
that had tasted much victory.
Door strong he drove man-biter
through three cunning hearts
and gaped the throat of another.
Then his hawk’s eye spied
the traitor Cyneheard
and deserting the door safe
he stormed out and struck with fury
the detested brother of Sigeberht.
But his blow was not true
and the Ootlag’s men
brought him down
like dogs.
The cry of his woman fetched
his hearth-guards from their dice,
swift as grunting boars they charged,
their spear tusks rattling,
but the Wolf's sun had set.
He lay still at the place of slaughter.
The traitor prince offered them breath and geld.
They answered with stag-hard thrusts,
But their fate was cast.
Soon their heads were
wide open on the earth,
their blood-oath seeping
into the corrupted land.
Only a hostage survived
the carnage
and these are his words.

Based on the account in Garmonsway, G.N.: "The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle" (Everyman Press, London, 1953, 1972)
Lookinging down as he plays the piano, with an old microphone waiting for him to sing! It's made by the sun shining on a cane sofa's arm, my husband's foot, part of the window, and a hanging wicker flowerpot holder. It all makes a simple scene.
