Excellent cross-Sun "before" from the north of the Station 9A bedrock outcrop sample, near the edge of Hadley Rille. Dave and Jim have placed the gnomon on top of the outcrop. Note the rounded corners and sizable vesicles within it.

A frame from Jack Schmitt's Station 4 pan at Shorty Crater. It is not certain whether he had started the pan before noticing the orange soil; but the dialog and the internal evidence of other pictures, indicate that Jack first saw the orange soil at about the time he started the pan. The scoop head is at the upper right. Note that the center of the image is blurred compared with the edges. This is consistent with the possibility that Jack got dust on the lens during the traverse from Station 3.

Down-sun documentation photo of the Solar Wind Composition (SWC) experiment taken by Jim Irwin. The ALSEP site can be seen in the distance behind and Dave Scott is driving to it in the LRV. Note "SUN" in block letters at the base of the SWC to ensure proper deployment orientation.
Nice view of Jim Irwin at the LRV during Dave Scott's Station 9 panoramic photography. Bennett Hill is visible on the horizon.

Many people, young and old, gather together to listen to the message of Kalki Avatar Ra Gohar Shahi.
From the north-facing slope of Hadley Delta, a striking view of the distant lunar module. Per the ALSJ, David Scott's favorite photograph from the mission.
More precisely, from the ALSJ: "Twenty years after the mission, this 500-mm photo was still Dave's favorite. It shows the LM as seen from Station 6, with Pluton Crater in the background. The ALSEP site is about one-fiducial separation to the left of the LM."
A video clip from the fantastic LunarNetworks site shows him taking this very photo:
