Pepsi is our female GSD. Fiesty, playful and always on guard protecting her pack. Thix was taken during our trip to the Auchnamurchan Peninsula, the most westerly point of the mainland UK.

This has to be one of the best pictures i've ever taken, i just love it.
So Justice League is around the corner and i'm super excited !! I planned on posting all 6 of the figures i've been working on for the past months but ! Apparently i won't be getting Flash on time (quite ironic) meaning that the figures WILL BE DELAYED. In that same note: No that's not the cowl i'll use for my Flash minifig, it's just a place holder.
I hope the helmet arrives next week and i can post the Showcase pics but i really don't know. In the mean time enjoy this lovely picture and tell me your thoughts so far on these figures !! (yes i'll reply to the comments this time)

The former CB&Q depot in Plano, Illinois on what is now the BNSF Mendota Subdivision might look like your slightly above average depot at first glance. But this depot is much more famous. It stood in as the Smallville City Hall in Zack Snyder's Superman reboot movie "Man of Steel" in 2013, which was filmed in downtown Plano. Unfortunately, the theatrical cut of the film did not show the depot in it's entirety. But as a result of the movie, Plano now hosts "Smallville Super Fest" every August, and the depot is at the heart of it. Several props from the filming of "Man of Steel" can be seen in the old freight wing. The depot still serves passengers for Amtrak's Illinois Zephyr and Carl Sandburg trains.
One of my favorite classic car dealerships has a little bit of everything for sale, including a life size Superman. Lois Lane not included...

I took this to mean: What you shoot, is what you get – no cropping, no contrast tweaking or the sort. And of course, I made the mistake of taking my shot indoors, in a room in which the lighting is somewhat difficult. What was I thinking? I guess I wasn’t.

Jasper Johns? No . . . . Superman! This painted flag is a large leftover from the movie set for Superman: Man of Steel, 2011, which was filmed with Main Street, Plano, representing Smallville, where Superman grew up. We were in town for a tour of the Farnsworth House, designed by Mies van der Rohe, and had lunch at Ivana's Cafe while watching trains that go by without stopping.
Wow, can you guys believe it's been three years since the announcement of Batman v Superman? (SDCC 2013 if memory suits me correct.)
It's so weird to be the final day of unknown before it's all out there. Like, this unknown BvS feeling has been a staple in my life for so long now it almost seems impossible for this movie to even be watchable, like it was never going to be obtainable some how. And tomorrow, that feeling of excitement and mystery will be gone.
I'm really hoping to keep that wonder alive as this springboards to more DC films, but one day I'll look back on this as the one that started it all (If we're not talking MoS) :P
I'll be seeing Dawn of Justice tomorrow night, so by Friday you can expect my reaction to this long awaited piece of cinema history.

It wasn't a Bird. Nor was it a plane. It was The Great Protector. When he was younger, Randy Ward realized his name was his destiny. He told me his name means the Great Protector.
Superman is a storm chaser. His Supermobile is equipped with radar, GPS, Ham radio and other communication devices. When he is not in uniform he must carry a small hip mounted handheld VHF/UHF transceiver to be ready for any approaching storms.
I asked Superman if he caught any footage of the tornado that swept through my town last October. Unfortunately he was working at the time, but he sensed something big was about to happen. I could tell that missing the only known tornado to pass through our town disappointed him greatly. I learned several things from talking with the Man of Steel, such as staying southeast of a storm to avoid the hail.
Superman is a bit of a local celebrity, known by the police departments of the surrounding parishes. He recently began assisting at children's birthday parties, and even had an offer to attend a bachelor party as a special guest. He had to turn that invitation down, however. He has a certain image to uphold, he informed me.
Superman was intrigued when he learned I had photographed Batman and he agreed to come by the studio for a quick photoshoot. Before we could go any farther with the plan, however, rain droplets began to gather on the surface of the Supermobile. And like that, Superman was gone, heading southeast towards the approaching clouds on the horizon.

The TV features a scrolling backdrop which makes the Man of Steel soar through the skies over Metropolis.
The backdrop is built of alternating 1- and 2-brick width columns, mounted on a loop of bulldozer treads which allows it to scroll.

In a moment of defiance, Zod confronted Jor-El,
Demanding the Codex be returned, his rage a fiery swell.
But Jor-El stood tall, fearless and strong,
And with a final act of defiance, he sang his son's song.
"There is more fun under a yellow sun," he declared,
As he sent Kal-El on his journey, away from the despair.
With the Growth Codex in his possession, Kal-El soared,
To a new world, a new life, where his destiny was adored.
And so began the epic saga of Kal-El, known as Superman,
A hero of justice, a beacon of hope, a defender of all lands.
As he embraced his newfound powers, under Earth's yellow sun,
He honored his father's sacrifice, his legacy, his love, as one.
And General Zod, filled with envy and hate,
Was left to ponder his defeat, his fate sealed by fate.
For Jor-El's words rang true, a lesson learned,
That love conquers all, that hope still burned.
