Got to walk out of here
I can't take anymore
Gonna stand on that bridge
Keep my eyes down below
Whatever may come
And whatever may go
That river's flowing
That river's flowing

She has a warrior spirit inside and if you want to get close to her, closer than anyone has before, then embrace the fighter. Don't be intimidated by it, that's not what it's about. We all fight battles, mostly alone and unknown. And all we really want is someone to look at us with love and to say, without saying a word, "it's ok to lay down your arms." (JmStorm)

An iconic shot of the New York City skyline taken front the top of the Rockefeller Centre.
The view from the Top Of The Rock is so amazing and it's one of my favourite places to visit in New York.
This is one of my favourite shots with the city skyline, cloudy skies and the sunrays shining through, hope you like it?

Manhattan was looking very pretty today in a beautiful November light, made me stay longer to admire it.
Seen from Jersey City shore, Manhattan was looking nostalgic and very pleasant drenched in the generous and warm tones of gold being almost ready for sunset.
through the lens, the lines blur between sky and architecture. here, at hudson yards, new york's vessel stands as a shimmering labyrinth of reflections and stories. the mirrored panels fragment reality, pulling the clouds down into the city’s heart while skyscrapers loom like guardians of an urban dreamscape. this frame holds a paradox: something massive, yet weightless; a place where the infinite sky touches the human-made grid. it’s not just a view, it’s an invitation to reflect—literally and figuratively.
W 4th St. Greenwich Village. Long-running music shop specializing in instruments from around the world, many of the music greats have passed through; you name it of they play they definitely passed through.
Equipped only with a small travel tripod, night shots of Manhattan could be taken under difficult conditions on the outside platform, through thick bulletproof glass.
.... it's tme to go home. I've have spent the last hour on Roosevelt Island searching for an installation by Tom Otterness which was placed on wooden piles in the river. Two residents have assured me that it's still there. No it's NOT! And it's raining. And I'm soaked. I'm going home!
The iconic Brooklyn Bridge, my favourite place in New York, hope you like it in black & white?
Brooklyn Bridge was the first fixed crossing of the East River opened in 1883. It was also the longest suspension bridge in the world at the time of its opening, with a main span of 1,595.5 feet (486.3 m) and a deck 127 ft (38.7 m) above mean high water. The span was originally called the New York and Brooklyn Bridge or the East River Bridge but was officially renamed the Brooklyn Bridge in 1915.
⠀
The Brooklyn Bridge is the southernmost of four toll-free vehicular bridges connecting Manhattan Island and Long Island, with the Manhattan, Williamsburg, and Queensboro bridges to the north. Only passenger vehicles and pedestrian and bicycle traffic are permitted. A major tourist attraction since its opening, the Brooklyn Bridge has become an icon of New York City.

Who loves walking across the Brooklyn Bridge?
I just love this view of Lower Manhattan enjoying the hustle and bustle and dicing with death with the cyclists.
This picture was taken on October 24, 2016. The view is from the top of the VA Hospital in East Orange. Newark, NJ is in the foreground, with the New York City skyline about 14 miles away.

The view is looking west toward New Jersey, with the Hudson River out of sight beyond the trees and buildings. You can see the cliffline of the Palisades and buildings in Weehawken or Hoboken in the distance. The twin llooking towers are part of the Modern at Fort Lee, which are visible from that area

"Winter invites white; white invites silence; silence invites peace. You see, there is so much peace in walking on the snow!" - Author: Mehmet Murat Ildan
Beautiful snow covered promenade in the centre of Central Park, this quarter-mile mall is flanked by towering American elm trees. At the Mall’s northern end stands Bethesda Terrace, overlooking the Lake.
The southern end features statues of famous writers, earning the promenade its nickname, “Literary Walk.”
