Am Abend des 27.03.2022 war 383 112 von der RTI mit einem schönen, blauen Kesselzug bei Mangolding Richtung Regensburg unterwegs.
Had this for dinner on Friday. Chard was the most popular vegetable in Europe until the end of the 17th century when more and more people switched to spinach for some reason. We got these wonderfully colored leafs from our neighbors on the other side of the street fresh from their big garden behind the house. Shot with my Iphone 7 just before we prepared this for dinner.

The Pfatter is a creek that flows into. It originates south of Dünzling and flows through the towns of Thalmassing, Köfering and Mangolding. Like many creeks, the Pfatter was straightened and canalized in the 19th/20th century and has been restored to its natural state in sections since 2002. This is a top view near Thalmassing.

The Danube village of Pfatter, which can be seen in the background, used to be a central place in the Gäuboden and had a central function in its region. The stream of the same name also flows into the Danube in Pfatter. It originates south of Dünzling and flows through the villages of Thalmassing, Köfering and Mangolding.
