The Hidimba temple also known as Hadimba temple dates back to the Hindu mythology Mahabharata and was built in 1553. The construction of this temple is built over a huge rock which is worshipped as a representation of Hidimba devi, the demoness who fell in love with the second Pandava brother Bhima and also the mother of Ghatotkach.

We finished playing on snow for a few hours and decided to head back to our hotel. And while returning to our jeep I was dumbstruck by the beautiful views of the snow spread on the sides of the road and snow which could be seen on the mountain peaks. It was a great experience to walk down the hill road with the natural ambience surrounding me creating the perfect mood of bliss.

The mighty mountains echoed from a long distance, and I could not stop at this point where I stood after walking uphill. I was completely astonished by the beauty of this gigantic himalayan mountain range which stood high and still, and afterwards there were dark clouds gathering on the overcast sky. It was a pleasure to view the mountains from a distance and enjoy the nature of the clouds moving all over the place.

This was taken when I was roaming in the forests around the Hidimba Devi temple. It rained the entire morning so the entire valley was soaked in rain water but the rain on the other hand brought this forest beauty into limelight, and I was astonished by the tall gigantic trees surrounding me.

It was a gloomy morning as it rained the entire night. And to my surprise there was snow spread all over the mountain terrain. The enchanting view of the himalayas from my hotel window caught my attention immediately and I did not hestitate to release my shutter button.

#manalidiaries A perfect place to backpack with friends or for a solo journey. Manali is where I began my backpacking journey. The serenetity made me fall in love with the place. The journey made me intoxicated to an extent that I traveled thousands of miles to keep myself high. Reminiscing those moments during these #quarantinedays.
I was pretty much broke when I took the journey but I am good with numbers fortunately so I was able to have a long 10 days backpacking journey all across Himachal Pradesh ata very low budget.
