ELKHORN, Man. (06/09/2011) - A semi-trailer hauling two tanks of diesel fuel caught fire on the eastbound lanes of the Trans-Canada Highway between Hargrave and Elkhorn around 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. No injuries were reported. Emergency services including fire crews from Wallace District in Elkhorn, Manitoba and Moosomin, Saskatchewan worked for hours to try to control the blaze and keep the second tank cool, and were still waiting for the diesel fuel to burn off and fighting the fire as the sun went down. The Trans-Canada was closed for several kilometres in both directions until about 11 p.m.

Meet Jack! We found Jack standing next to a sign of him taking pictures and then he walked away. He runs the Scooter (Bumper Cars) At Knoebel's Amusement Park in Pennsylvania. As soon as he saw my mom and I he threw his arms around us and started telling us the history of the park and surrounding areas. He is 83 years old and has been working at the park for the last 31 years. He was so excited I was a photographer and was staying busy. This is a picture of him holding my daughter :) Such a sweet man.
