This dramatic looking character is taken in detail from a group of statues, sculpted by Sir Thomas Brock and is placed at the centre of Queens' Gardens on front of Buckingham Palace and is dedicated to Queen Victoria. It was finally installed in 1924 but originally dedicated in 1911. The group is topped by the "Peace" statue in gold. It's a wonderful group of figures.
